WTF - REALLY WTF

Jesus... Ive just spent the last 3-4 hours stuffing around with this. The whole experience has turned me off the game i once loved... and warp portal... WTF.. really WTF.

So i try to create an account for ragnarok, says i need an account for warp portal, Ok ok, fine whatever, ill do that.


Put in my email address into warp portal account creation : Email "Not available", Try to recover my password "you must be logged into warp portal to recover your password". What? Are you serious? To retrieve your password, you need to be logged in already........ok this is weird.... i love this game after all, ill just create an alternate email to play again... little bit of a stuff around but no biggy.

After that bull-_-, when i create a WARP portal account, why the-_- do i need to create a Ragnarok account as well? Really... Why? Do you just enjoy wasting my time? Ok ok... make my account, success.. cool.... Start my game up, password done ..... "Failed to connect to server".

Would you mind being a little bit more specific!!?? that message doesnt tell me :P. Now im in the forums seeing fixes like : try and install to another directory, Try to run without Antivirus, try running as administrator, try...... AND AFTER ALL THAT BULL-_- IT STILL DOESNT WORK!!!!

:D waste of time, ill never use warp portal ever again.

Failed to connect because the server is in maintenance. I believe you can get your old ro account back once you log in with you WP account, and blind the ro account to your new WP account.

The site really needs something that says "The game is currently down for maintenance." because posts like this show up literally EVERY single maint.

The warp portal account is kinda like steam, you have one and it binds all your accounts and cash shop funds onto one account. Then you spend your money however you want on individual accounts for the different games.

If you didn't notice gravity don't just host RO anymore.

I'm sorry that your game play was hampered by the weekly maintenance. It won't happen again until next maintenance.

I deeply apologize for you going through so much trouble to create your WP and Ragnarok account. The WarpPortal account is created as a master account to manage multiple games accounts and distribute points to each account with ease. It may seem like a pain now but when it comes to having multiple accounts(same game or different) and adding points/subscriptions to them, it make make your life a lot easier.

Now in regards to "Cannot Connect to server" this is due to our service being weekly under maintenance. Several announcements are posted on the official Facebook/Twitter, and even in several posts on the forums. But as for a big blatant announcement on the website or patcher, you are correct there isn't one. I've had a conversation with Heim and we'll see about getting more announcements with the coming maintenance.

Again, deepest apologizes for all the trouble you've gone through, hopefully you'll come back and give us a try again. Now that the servers are back up.

seriously don't think we have to tell you which-_- to these forums. try reading the forum about maintenance times i mean really anyone who has played an mmo knows they have maint so don't go flaming this one cause it wasn't up when you wanted it to be aawwww sobs.

quite the opposite, i do agreet that there should be a notice on the patcher for maintenance notices. i can't relate to this whole facebook/twitter crap either.

what i don't agree with however, is you comming on the forums, with a foaming mouth spouting out curses left and right as if the world owes you.
i'm no gm or community manager, i do not need to sell you stuff. i am not required to be kind to you. so you got a taste of your own medicine.

If you go to a store and you can't find the product you want, do you go about shouting at the staff too?
Because if you do, I'm sure you've been kicked out of a good number of stores by now.

Yes, the maintenance times should be easier to find but -- Get off your high horse. If instead of your epic rage you'd simply asked why you couldn't connect you could have saved yourself a -lot- of time.
So in the end, it wasn't Warp Portal who wasted your precious time... It was you.
