and the translation posted on the first page says its cast on enemies, but I thought you could cast it on yourself?

Ok, this lvling is getting super tedious. Why cant all the alchemist, biochems, and gens get together a pick a figgen spot. Cause im trying to lvl this damn thing and the spawns on every decent map for it there is no one there. What ever happened to the old days of OD2, where the spawn what super quick where ever you wanted to go on the map. I say we pick one and pick one soon.

Petites and Magmarings would be a good place if weren't because of the Flee nerf.

I'd truly hate to level at Ant Hell due to the people there, and I've got 2 falls in OD1 (the new OD2) since I got my beloved Eira, mainly due to...

  • Possibly lag
  • Sudden vessel-sized mob intensity
  • The ASPD drop (ASPD 151 down from 167)
  • The Motion Locking
  • Failed recovery due to ASPDance
  • The Flee nerf, obviously.

In all of those cases my homun died before me. And yeah, OD1 suddenly became very popular.

I was looking at all the job exp values for the monsters. It seems like dragontails give more than ground petites actually. But honestly i just want a place just for the alchemists and their homus.

Ah. I guess that makes sense. But personally, orc dungeon feels a tad bit too low on the exp. :P

Go to OD2, it's been lively all day on ymir constantly several mobs on screen.

Can't flee them very good anymore + bash hurts. It would require too much baby sitting or auto aid potting being allowed again. Even though auto aid pot should be allowed right now since the flee is absolute crap on homunculus and you can't target them with loots on the ground :D

Doesnt the homu take away the chemists job exp. Which is why they dont get any job exp when they let homu kill?

I can swear from the bottom of my stomach that it always worked like that, from the beginning of the ages...:P

I mean, if a foe gives 1500 base exp and 1700 job exp and the homun kills the foe on its own, the homun gets 1500 base exp regardless of the level difference, while the owner gains 1500 base exp (affected by level difference). The job exp is completely ignored for both the homun and the owner.

Homunculus gets and shares full base EXP and discards all job EXP. thats why the player doesn't receive any job.

huh...didnt know that. Just kinda thought since player doesnt get any job it was using the job for its own lvling.

i hate to double post but i just found something out that is cool. Amatu dungeon lvl 2 is a perfect homu leveling space. All the monsters down there give very nice exp. The map is small to the point where if it was filled with afkmists the spawns would be great (which btw they are pretty good now). The only annoyance is getting there and the knockback from firelock.

Hmm, initial stat progression doesn't seem to be as bad as what Azzy said... at least for the first level I got. Maybe the insta 150 was messed up on the test server? My Eira got decent stat to almost everything on leveling:

ATK: 109 > 113
MATK: 353 > 361
HIT: 357 > 361
CRIT: 36 > 36
DEF: 289 > 296
MDEF: 227 > 233
FLEE: 195 > 200
ASPD 142 > 144

HP: 9106 > 9170
SP: 798 > 820

Good to know. You can tele there directly using Dungeon Teleport Scroll.

It makes me think the homunculi S have better stat growth than the regular homunculi per leveling, no? If that's the case... I'm glad I didn't overleveled my Lif when she used to be a Lif :P.

Then use the "edit" button.

If edited posts were as noticeable as new posts... :D.

Mine. There is something wrong with stat growths atm. We are trying to figure out what causes homunculus made after renewal/balance patch to grow significantly better statwise. My Vanilmirth got bumped to 12k+ after evolution. I am now curious if I'll hit like 14k when I get Homunculus S. :P

This is strange... Leveling from Lvl 99 > 100 indeedly requires 3.800.000 exp to level, Lvl 100 > 101 requires 4.100.000 exp, Lvl 101 > 102 requires 4.300.000 exp... (Soy Sauce)

Unless the client is bugged (yet again) I got different values:

Posted Image
Lvl 100 > 101 = 4.124.000 exp

Posted Image
Lvl 101 > 102 = 4.260.000 exp

What the brown? :P.

I didn't have the time to check over the entire thread, but I'm curious, is there a general rule about which homuns are best to change into which homun S? For example, I was thinking of getting a filir to change into the cat-girl. Is that something that would be considered good, or am I making some incorrect assumptions somewhere?
