So what we've discovered so far in a nutshell:

Sera = Painkiller makes you a PVM God. Run around Magma 2 all day long picking up loot and never die or use pots. You only have to worry about MVP skills rather than attack damage for the most part. Needle of Paralysis is like an Ankle Snare that you can aim and poison mist allows you to mob decently as well while leveling the homunculus. She also has funny bees you can play with.

Eira = Her AoE and damage sucks compared to other homunculus S, but she makes up for it with some interesting tools. Overed boost is very useful. Makes her into a beastly flee tank, makes the genetic into a decent emp breaker in a pinch without being reliant on ANY gears or buffs, and allows farming of intimacy in order to use skills like self destruction more frequently. She can revive you after death, but it's not practical.

Dieter = It does a bit of everything and is possibly the strongest mob-killer of the lot under the right conditions. It has the lowest attack speed, but the highest HP and SP modifiers. Is a piece of crap until lv 109, after which it becomes a machine after learning Lava slide. At lv 123 it basically becomes a ghetto reflect damage RG with Magma flow. Volcanic ash is a nasty, nasty skill that with griefing potential written all over it, as well as possibly being a major pain in WoE precasts for both friend and foe alike. Pyroclastic gives fire endow, ups bomb/cart cannon damage, and makes Dieter's AOE skills even more deadly. It's not as tanky as Bayeri or Sera, but it kills things while it's tanking.

Eleanor = no Aoe Skills at all, lowest SP mod. Awe-inspiring single target DPS. She's like a combo monk in your pocket. She can stop targets from moving and drain SP. Heavilly speciallised towards PVP.

Bayeri = HP tanking and direct caster AOE type skills, and a safety wall skill that's still of dubious use. Needs more research done. Seems that most of it's good skills are interruptable. It's either going to be tanking for the genetic, or attacking safely with it's AOE's while the genetic tanks. It does holy damage, which is kind of interesting.

Actually it's not really the SP drain ( from the limited testing I did ) of C.B.C. that is the really painful part.... tested it on a 150 fully WoE geared sura, one cast 10% SP damage but over the couple seconds he was immobilized it drained 40% HP. with E.Q.C. supposedly there will be an extra 10% ( maybe more, that is the desc. on wiki ) and -25% weapon ATK and -25% DEF ( unknown yet if it is total DEF... I.E. all reducs or if it is just armor DEF ) the 10% SP drain is not that much, but several casts of C.B.C. should realistically drain all the HP from a character. From the one test I did on my sorc the second cast on her the drain killed her.

Ah well there you go. I don't know much about Eleanor's admittedly other then that they do crazy DPS and have skills that can cripple a human player.

Using Volcanic Ash to harrass others is most likely considered skill abuse.

Though that hasn't stopped me from casting it on the occasional mob-thief.'

Erp, I mean, it hasn't stopped DIETER from casting it on the occasional MOB, as I have it set to do so in my AI. It just so happened that those baddies were standing right on the tile it decided to cast the skill. <v<

Just because people dont complain doesnt mean they are afk or botting. I know I rarely ever talk to the chems nearby unless they say something to me first. Even if their Dieter is casting right on top of me. Its OD2, alot of the time you just have to expect people to be huge jerks and just let it go. Otherwise youll be pretty much unhappy 99.999999% of the time.

Yeah, same here...most times I've said anything have just turned into an argument:

I'll say something like "Don't ks Please", and 90% of the time they snap back with something like

-"It's not ks cause homunc aren't players"
or
-"Its not ks cause if you have more then x number of monsters on you, anyone can kill your mob"

Even had some guy claim to be quoting the EULA/Terms of Service saying the above over and over. Messaged GM's about it but haven't gotten anything but their retarded "We'll look into it" copy/pasted response. YAY for actually reading tickets...

etc...

Thing is, I think AzzyAI is programmed not to KS and since most people use it, it's kind of surprising to see such comments...

Well yes and no, most of us on these forums do use azzyai, but there are a lot of people who never come on homunc forums or even know there are ro forums that kind of muddy the waters for all of us.

-"Its not ks cause if you have more then x number of monsters on you, anyone can kill your mob"

that's a first, I never heard anyone use that excuse before.

most of the time I would agree with you, but if they get ash statused and still don't say something then they probably aren't manually aid potting.

I've heard all kinds of excuses from archers mostly, though I've seen pretty much all classes using magnum break clips or whatever AoE attack they've got, running around ks'ing alchs in OD. Those 2 I posted above are just the ones I've heard most often...no idea what the actual 'rule' is, as GM's have yet to answer any questions I ask in my petitions to report said individuals =p

The ones who don't argue are almost more annoying though, they just run around saying 'lol' as they kill everything on your homunc over and over. Had a mechanic doing that the other day.

...anyways, my point was that I usually don't bother complaining or talking to other people in OD anymore due to how many unpleasant people like those that I've encountered down there, lol.

The biggest excuse I hear is "But all these homuns are KSing me anyway!"

I guess the reason for that might be that the homuns have no way to know if a monster is being mob trained by someone, so if a character is trying to mob, a homun WILL run up to them and steal little bits of their mob so long as the monsters aren't attacking them. The only way to prevent this is to set your homun to avoid moving mobs, like the old MIR AI

also id like to note that, just because there are 10 zenorcs surrounding you it doesnt mean theyre "your" monsters. i find it funny when people-_- and moan about my dieter killing the zenorc mobs around them

I think you'd be right too. Personally I would go with Vani. The large SP pool means you get more uses of painkiller before you have to throw a blue potion. Amistr's skills compliment painkiller more than vanil though. Being under painkiller, then amistr bulwark for just that little extra bit of defense.
