The chat system really sucks. Seriously.

I know this is old news, but this is ridiculous. I can't unsee the stupid megaphones that people spam all day now! "HEY BOB!" "HI JIM!" "WHATS UP?" "OH NOTHIN JUST BANGIN MAH GF LOLOL" "LOL!" or "BLANKBLANK IS A NOOB IN PVP!" "NO U! UR GARBAGE COME AT ME BRO." (Why are so many reinforced megaphones being given out? Please stop giving out so many free megaphones...) I think megas are shouted in every chat type except whisper. People are literally having conversations through these things. =/ Annoying. And why do I have to hold up this dumb "O" sign whenever I type a word with the letter "O" in it? It's been like that forever, but now I feel like complaining about it. I mean, I can't pretend like I'm afk anymore.

I don't really mind any of the other emotions. Also, when I'm typing in whisper, it seems to switch to "All" chat whenever I'm finished typing. What's up with that? Out of all the chat system bugs, that has to be the WORST. Not only that, but it happens the most frequently. And I can't STAND that whenever I'm in a PvP room, the chat box closes whenever another player enters the room! IS THAT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN? IDK. If it is, I certainly don't like it. Like, at all. I also can't switch to friend chat or anything else when I'm in a PvP room. The tab for it is like, shaded out. Uncool. And the chat block time is TOO LOW! I DON'T EVEN SPAM BRO. So, it would be really cool if you guys fixed the chat crap. It's getting out of hand. I'm sure there are plenty of more flaws with the chat system that I haven't ranted about.

Oh, and that "ding" sound whenever I press enter to type a message! "Chatting window is activated. Press ESC to deactivate." I don't really think anyone likes it or think it's necessary. I'm pretty sure people know when they've activated the chat system. And you can press enter again to deactivate it. ESC isn't required. And as everyone knows, if you press enter when doing an emotion, it cancels it! D: That seriously ruins couple emotes and such. I want to be able to type freely while doing emotes. This ONLY applies for the "O" sign and wave emote when enter is pressed. And uh, yeah. That's all I got.

This is the only thing I don't agree with as well. The ding doesn't bother me.

One thing that really irritates me and has been complained about in the past is how activating the chat window interrupt's any emote your doing. I guess your not bothered by it.

Whining about it? Really? I barely "whined" about it at all. No, the real problem about it is that it cancels out emotes. The noise however, I can cope with. Still bothers me though.

Because it is not truly important. The noise is part of the matter when it cancels out emotes when pressing enter. I was simply pointing out that I don't like the ding noise all that much. I think you're missing the main idea of this topic.

The O sign and X sign come from your message including the letter O or X. They're shortcuts for the emotes. I propose you should have an option to turn those message cues for emotes off.

Either that, or change the cues for O and X sign to AGREE or NOT

Have you seen the rest of the Proposal Section? Why would your suggestion be the first one to be considered? The entire section is just for show.

Oh, I know that. It's why I made the topic in General Discussion. I don't think anyone's suggestions have been considered or even looked at for that matter. However, I believe these bugs NEED to be fixed. These aren't things you just brush aside.

Just because there is no response, doesn't mean it was ignored. I'm not going to just give a response to give a response. There are other issues that are still heavily affecting the gameplay. In regards to the megaphones, as I've stated in the other thread, that there will be a chat blocking feature for megaphones and normal chat.

Also, incase someone else wants to respond about the PvP and MyHome chat being bugged, it'll be fixed in tomorrow's maintenance. The proposals are not ignored. I read every single one. Placing something in General Chat doesn't mean that its going to get more attention.
