sry For my bad English...
Multiboxing in Rose Online
Since there are so many questions ingame when i actually multibox in Rose Online i decided to show you guys a little Video how i Multibox in Rose Online.
The Software which is used is called ISBOXER (www.isboxer.com) which is an multiboxing software which allows you to handle more clients on one (or more) pc's. It started with WOW which is possible the most game which multiboxing is used but it had grwon over the last years and with that great developer it now supports many many more games. Multboxing has NOTHING to do with Botting or such things. The Multiboxing Community is strictly against such things, just that you know.(Read about it here !) So with ISBOXER you can control as many clients as your pc(pc's) can handle all by 1 keyboard and mouse.
For the moment im just adding a little presentation video for the ppl who are intrested in this kinde of stuff, just a short "look into"
So if there is more intrest in that kind of playin-style i'll maybe make an tutorial about multiboxing with innerspace. (Rose Online does not have that much features for multiboxing since there is only the "F-Keys on the keyboard" for playin, but you can actually also play with this minimal keyconfiguration.
An very simple Example:
What Isboxer does for me when i Press F1 on the Keyboard -> It presses F2 on the second client which is maybe used for a heal e.g. cleric.
So i hope i give you some ideas of how this multiboxing thing works or its used.
Greetings, hjari

Hi,
ya right currently im at Prison
No and Yes, its not quite possible to move all characters at the same time, its a method where you sync the mouse for all clients then it would be possible where ever you click that the char moves there. Currently im navigating each client by itself (i pop up the client - click where i want to go - switch to the next client... and so on). Im trying diffrent way's of the moving controling but i did not find the right one for now, but this way works for the moment.so this allows u to move all characters identically? with one click?
Greetings

actually im playing with window mode with monitor wide 23" and 2048 resolution... i put 2 clients 1024 side by side and just click in 1st window(main char to attack, move, pick) or click 2nd window (cleric to heal, buffs, bonefire)
but, i liked this multiboxing
will try later =)

That's what I'm doing... sorta'.
I'm using my laptop and my screen is much smaller. So the client windows overlap. But there is still enough screen on the bottom window to click on it and move or heal or whatever.
I enjoy this multi-client option a lot. Allows me to level faster, especially if you can't find a party.

it allows you to map keys to send keystrokes to background windows.
I have a few of my numpad keys mapped to send function keys to the rose window in the background while i actively play the one in front.
You can set up any mapping you like and even have sequences of function keys pressed from a single input key.
here is an example of some of the mapping I typically use
numpad 1 --> Full buffs (cleric in the background casts all buffs one by one on the selected character. utilizes a built in delay between each one)
numpad 2 --> Heals the selected character. Can also be used to make the cleric follow you if you move to a new location
numpad 3 --> Bonfire
numpad 4 --> Party heal
I also have numpads 6 and 9 mapped to mage AOE skills for when I'm using a different team.
You can make as many custom scripts as you like. It's really useful software.
Additionally, on the old forums we were told that this software is OK to use with rose so as long as nothing has changed in the official policies you should be fine using this.

I just started with a 90 day subscription for this software and hopefully someone can help me. I am just wondering if some screen shots showing some current configurations they have for setting up the game. I am having issues after selecting the ISboxer character sets in Innerspace and it initializes the launcher but then I am unable to click play on the launcher. Play is an option but when I click on it nothing happens. Do I still need to configure hot keys to click play?

The Problem with the "Play" Button has following howTo:
When you start your configuration in isboxer then the "Rose-Launcher-menu" comes then do not click anywhere in the client besides with 1 left click on the "Play" Button and THEN press the "Space" Key on your Mainboard. Thats the only i'm gettin rose to run when i multibox with my 5 chars... Its only for the Launcher (the startin problem) afterwards you'll have no problems ingame !
Greetings

I'm totally shocker you responded so quickly Hjari but I am very pleased. TY for your information as I now have two screens.
However, I have made it to my next problem. I now have 2 windows on my desktop as I configured it but I am stuck at the "Read before playing" screen for both windows. When I try to click on "AGREE" it scrolls down the bar to the bottom of window but does not advance to the next screen. I also tried by clicking once on the "Agree" tab and then hit "space" but it doesn't advance. Any advice?
You've been very helpful. TY

Im glad everything works now for you ya rose isnt the same with innerspace and it makes really fun.
@EmoCutt
Not it is not, since you have to press evry key-action by yourself ! Innerspace just allows you to handle multiple clients very comfortable ! Evry action you make ingame has to be manually pressed so there are no macros possible. Read yourself through the mechanism of innerspace on the website then you understand how it works. (Isboxer)

No it's not against the rules as long as both clients are manually controlled.Lol this isn't against the rules?
In my own setup I control the second box completely from the numpad keys.
It's just like having two sets of function keys attached to actions instead of just one. One set for each client.
It's only against the rules when you make a client work completely autonomously from some sort of AI or just repetitive instructions (i.e. a BOT)

Dude what resolution are you using? My graphics look terrible with my current resolution D:

Im Using 1024x768 for the main window (and the video quality ingame is turned middle)
for the other clients im running them in 256x192.
Its an simple calculation, for resizing your window in the correct way without any offsets:
Take your MAIN-Resolution and divide through your wished clients. that should be your second,third,... clients resolution:
EG:
my Main is 1024x768
i have 4 clients running
1024/4 = 256
768/4 = 192
Other clients --> 256x192
For your configuration of the other clients there is an "Virtualisation" field in the ISboxer Toolkit, so you can define for each of your "box" which gameconfig you want. The other clients without the main client should have less graphic details and view range since you dont really play with them.
There is also an max FPS field for each "box" possible to configure, so you can handle the performance issue for your computer.

it depends on your hardware how much details or quality is possible with many clients... i have an old dualcore with 4gb ram and it goes really well but sometimes in crowded areas there are some problems but i guess thats normal (eg.all clients in junon at the same time is nearly unplayable). The better the hardware the better or bigger your screens can be

moreover, i dont think this is the purpose of the game to perform party within one click every few seconds.
that give you advantage over others that play in one char and party normally, you can get X4 or even X5 drops then them in the same time.
but the saddest thing here for me is -if i want to party those days at rose(not at 220 places) i need to dual client at least, i need to have cleric,champ,lurer and sometimes looter all from same computer

As I said before it is perfectly legal as long as each client is controlled manually with actual keypress events.that not seems so legal for me,
moreover, I dont think this is the purpose of the game to perform party within one click every few seconds.

The devs have told us this point blank.
I totally disagree with you about the party thing though.
Pretty much every time I go out with a cleric and some other character I get a constant stream of people asking to join and almost always end up with a full party. My cleric then has to heal and buff all of them and that's a pretty complicated job when you are running multi- clients. It gets quite interesting.
I like to multi-client because it raises the challenge level in some ways.
If all i have to do is watch out for myself on a leveling character it's too easy. Likewise just buffing and healing and entire party is too easy but when I combine both at the same time it means I have to work a whole bunch harder and that is way more fun, for me at least.
