I work in a coal mine and... Okay, just a joke.
On the next maintenance, please make the timer start when you pick the quest, instead of when you finish it.
With all these server crashes, it's hard to keep a schedule in doing the quest daily,
I let go one day of doing the quest so I could fix my timer in a better time (6 PM), now it's back where I started, past 1:30 AM.
I think many of us have this problem as well.

---------
Some observations (I hope they will be helpful in some way):
-I'm double clienting, both chars at same map. When one gets DC, the other one still online. Takes a while to the other one get DC.
Even so, he still online for most of time.
-Party Window, Guild Window, PMs, Party Chat and Guild Chat all stop working before one of my characters get disconnected.
2x EDIT: Now it seems everyone got disconnected in Amatsu, except for my Taekwon he just did.

I'm also having this issue. I run at least 9 characters through the CNY event quest every day (that I'm here) - my Mora daily quest timers are already now becoming disparate over eight characters (would be more if Hazy Forest instance were fixed but I haven't been able to get back into it at all for a couple weeks now), and if these DCs continue (and now a WoE map restart that disconnected everyone in Amatsu? What?), I'll lose another set of CNY event runs because the timer won't be far back enough to fit in the last set before maintenance on Tuesday.

It's not just the WoEers who have schedule modifications based on RO... I don't know what the problem is - attack on the server, server malfunctions, whatever - and I know you guys over at HQ are attempting to address it, but it's gotten, to understate it a little, extraordinarily frustrating...

I wanted to bring this up as well. I've been doing the quests later and later every day, maybe because of the server problems, so the 23 hour timer isn't really helping. Like mentioned above, it would be really nice if the timer ends when we grab the quest, so I could grab the quest for my characters every morning, and complete it whatever time during the day. Or, perhaps shorten the cooldown to 18 hours?

I have just one character in 2 accounts that are able to do that quest. I'll have to level up alts so I can actually get a Golden Dragon Helmet, I really want it.

Speaking to that, here's hoping that the three dragonhelms are tradable after the next maint, or, barring that, we get another week of the quest~

Would be great if we got an answer here, though.

Right as a batch of my timers come up. So much for careful planning...

Would also like an answer to the questions in the thread. To reiterate for easier reading:
1) Timers start on quest acquisition and not quest turn in?
2) Another week of dragonhelm event? (Wishful thinking, here, I admit.)
3) Helm (all three) tradability after the box is out?
