One run makes round 4-15g on one run. But what if it was you have 2 alts afked, while 2 ppl farm? Pretty much split profit of 1:1

I don't see why I'd bother hiring in the first place, then. Maybe it's just common sense--it seems to get in the way of my understanding of a lot of idiocy these days.

Help in DV is useful for players too weak to effectively solo or multiclient many clients themselves. But unfortunately some prices are just too steep. Perhaps an alternative would be for a merc to offer free run assistance while keeping all loot they obtain. I might toy with that idea, myself.

If they're too weak to solo effectively, why would you want to merc for them if all you get is the loot you obtain? Being paid to run DV for someone is just retarded.

Y do you think that no one his filled out a merc form to hire yet? If someone wants to hire, there must be a good reason. If he/she has the gold to hire, let them be. Its their gold.

The point being, instead of people just megaphoning for help in-game, they could come here and find people who are already committed toward helping others. My idea of not charging for runs and keeping loot is exactly what is already widely done in-game. The only difference is that now I have inserted myself in a public listing of people willing to help others.

My initial price of 10g was based on slightly less than average profit of me doing the run solo but I see now that it's easier to just not charge for the runs, and keep the loot. Or charge a nominal fee for running 2+ clients. I'm glad we're having this discussion of mercenary fees though.

About fees-If anyone decides to change their fee, or whatever they feel like changing, let me know and I'll fix it.
For the people who are questioning this: Well, Sada pretty much explained it, but this program is basically just a database of people who can help to farm, or job change, etc. It will help many people, and also reduce the clutter of megaphone spamming saying "Please help me" or "I need help with ___!"
