Hi! I've been playing for around 8 days now. I got a 20+ Wizard, 20+ Marksman, 30+ Bandit and 40+ Priest, I have a problem with choosing a class. I like supporting (healing and debuffing), and I like PvPing, so I went with a priest. But as I was reading the forums, talked to people in-game, and just with a simple analysis, I guess they're not much of a support class? they do high damage, people go with an aspd build, and heals are looked down upon in pvp? so what are priests supposed to do in pvp? just deal damage and debuff? If I would play a priest, not use the X-spam boosts, and just use damaging skills for flinching would heals still be looked down on?

Anyway, since priests are looked at as a high damaging class(?) and I find X-spam lame, can anyone recommend me a class for supporting? Doesn't have to be a healer, it can be a debuffer, like just slows, silences, stuns, whatever... Or should I still stick to my priest?

That's a good question, actually. As X spam in PvP is useless and heals are VERY looked down upon, Priests seem like a useless class. However, one of the best PvPers I know is an Invoker and never uses X attack or healing. It's a matter of knowing what to do. Priests/Invokers will always be amazing debuffers, but if you hate X spam, they might get pretty boring in PvE.

I noticed you said you had a Wizard. I suggest advancing it to Warlock, since they're some of the best debuffers in the game. At 27, you'll get Blizzard, which is an amazing AoE attack that freezes tons of mobs and makes you MVP in F7. Also, with access to Slow Heal, tons of Physical Damage Reduction, and HP, they can serve as great meat-shields and Slow Heal would effectively do the same job as an Invoker.

As for if you choose to continue your priest, Priests USED to have some of the highest damage potential in the game, but not anymore. How Priest plays depends on how you WANT to play it. For instance, my fiancee was a full "support" Priest, stacking Health and mostly using debuff skills with the occasional Spark Rock. Most people choose an attack speed/CD build, which is much more offensive, of course. For you, I would recommend maybe sticking to CD/attack speed and using debuffs like Barbarian and Quag. Heals will always be looked down upon in PvP. For PvP, get acquainted with Barbarian, Frog, Quagmire, and Spark Rock. I'll leave it at that.

Again, heals are generally much looked down upon in pvp, especially slow heal. Just talk to the person you're PvPing, since rules are pretty relative.

The good news is that full support Invokers are still very useful in Emporia Wars.

WHAT TARD PVP's a HEALER AND GETS MAD AT HIM FOR HEALING. Ive never heard of that before. Its almost like this game was meant for the special ed.
I say go all out Priest and support and heal your face off if people get mad... f them. You shouldnt care what people in a game think. lol.

^ I'm guessing you're unaware of 70+ pvp. Good priests don't need to heal sorry. If everyone thought like you, no one would play.

When you're 60+ and Job changed to Invoker, you'll realize your awakening skills are much more useful than any other class. Its not just X-SPAM, though... I do find it fun to be able to shoot fireballs are such a fast rate...
