Thinking about replaying iRO.

I want to play my Ranger, he currently doesn't have any good equips and he is trap build.

I'm sure iRO has changed quite a bit since I last "played" the game.

Any advice on how to obtain things such as equips, weapons, zeny?

Also what is the cost of a full reset using kafra points?

$4 for a neuralizer, $1 per reset stone; the number of reset stones needed varies per level range. Also a lot cheaper to buy with zeny. For equips, you'll want a white wing set from Mora.
How to get access to Mora Daily Quests

Weapon-wise, you'll want decently upgraded Elven Bow, paired with elven arrows. Elven Bows drop from gargoyles, and can be bought from vendors for roughly 13m(average price).

Zeny is honestly hard to come by for new players, but should be a lot easier for returning players. Selling gear from Mora with good enchants is a relatively easy way to make money.

Hunting consumables is still viable on ymir, but isn't very profitable in valk, due to competition from bots.

Selling kafra goods is still the fastest way to make zeny.

1. Elven Bow and White wing set are you best bet using arrow storm for damage

2. If you haven't used the mesmeriser in Eden your best bet is to use that to reset. If not its 400 KP for a Neuralizer and a few reset stones pending on your level

3. as for making Zeny...... I just wait till I get lucky with a drop otherwise cash shop items like enriched Elu/ori when the hammer is out sells well.

Basically trap build for now are kinda useless to some people because of Fire Traps do low damage now. In addition, Its elemental, like Fire Trap do fire element damage and Ice Traps do Water element damage. Most Rangers now go pure ASPD and Arrow Storm build. About equips, Mora Set are recommended (White Wing set). And with Elven Bow set (Elven Bow + Elven Arrow), you can do about 1k damage each shot.

About full resets, if you didn't use Mesmerist yet (NPC in Eden Group), you just can talk to him and get a free reset. If you does use his service, resetting skills costs 400kp for a Neutralizer while for stats reset, It varies on your level. Higher levels means you need more Reset Stone to reset stats.
