hello, say I have a weapon that is supposed to stun when doing physical attack. Will it stun only when monster get hit or can it stun even when it was a miss? It is a bit hard to check since I cannot tell the difference if the stun effect comes first or if I hit the monster first (since I wont miss the monster when its stunned :() I want to know this simply to appreciete how much benefit I get from this stun effect. I tried to fight monsters with their element endow but it seems all monsters get some damage anyway these days or maybe its just hard to find a lvl 4 ele monster lol.

And the other stun ´related thing is spirit spheres. I thought of wearing GG card to get spirit sphere to get the never missing 10 ATK as it said in iROwikis description and combining this with the stunning weapon in case if this is the solution to my first question. But once i get the spirit spheres I still miss :) why

You only can inflict Stun status once the monster got hit. If you miss the attack you done, the monster wont have chance to be stunned.
And Spirit Spheres only add +3 ATK per sphere. Your attack accuracy depends on your DEX and HIT rate. Spirit Sphere wont add HIT or accuracy because it only adds ATK bonus.

Prior to the renewal update in late 2010, spirit spheres added flee-bypassing damage. This is no longer the case.

Aha that solves the case, thanks. Anyone knows more good cards and gadgets that give flee bypassing ATK than ancient mummy card and gunslinger coin?

Its called Seeking Attack(which never miss its target) iirc. Which is you can get from hunter card set. Hunter card set adds 20% Seeking Attack.

Hunter Card Set includes : Anolian,Merman,Cruiser,Alligator and Dragon Tail cards.

But people rarely use it.

Gunslinger coins do not give flee-bypassing attack anymore either, they were changed at same time as spheres (actually, slinger coins ARE spheres, and for a few months after Gunslinger class came out, suras could steal their coins/spheres with Absorb, and that skill that gives people spheres would give slingers coins. I think this was fixed though, so those skills just fail).

They removed the mechanic of small amounts of flee-bypassing atk in general. The only way to bypass flee is to crit or use a skill that ignores flee (like Seeking Attack from AM, or one of the many powerful flee-ignoring skills).

I use it on my hunter. I definitely recommend it for non-trans archer characters to give that extra oomph. Trans and 3rd class characters probably don't receive as much benefit from it, and non-archer characters (aside from maybe gunslingers) receive very little benefit at all aside from the +20 Seeking.

Damn... I just found out that even the archer set doesn't give seeking attack. It seems that it only increases already present seeking attack by 20% lol. So the only benefit from this effect would be if you have ancient mummy combo with 20 S.Attack, it would increase to 24 S.attack :p_err: Aww this totally disrupted my build XD

Source?

Pretty sure it gives seeking attack if you don't have it - particularly since it's meant to be used with a bow (i mean, it's the archer set), and none of the other methods to get seeking attack (Ancient Mummy card - which goes in a shield, and Gungnir, which is a spear) can be used with a bow. I would say, if you're not getting seeking attack from the set, it's a bug and should be reported as such.
