Hi everyone,

I apologise for shamelessly advertising my own site but it is in the community spirit!

We're offering free guild hosting for anyone who wants it. We'll set you up on a subdomain
and install a forum for you. If you want to make your own site though, that is fine. We give
you full FTP access and your own MySQL database. If you already have a forum and just want
the subdomain to redirect that's fine too. Or, if you already have a domain but want new hosting
we can set you up with your own domain!

We will NEVER charge and NEVER put adverts on, this is your hosting, completely free.
As long as your site is for your Ragnarok Online Guild and not used for other things, we're happy!

A little note I've forgotten to put on the site (will add it shortly):
Depending on where you are currently hosted I have the tools to migrate your
database so you don't have to lose all the posts on your current forum. Ask
me about it if you're unsure what you currently use.

I think invisionfree and proboards charge (not positive) to retrieve their
database though which is a real pain.

Thank you so much for the prompt response! I look forward to getting started on my new forums. I recommend this to everyone! I want to see it get as popular as sites like ROPD and Ragial. I tell you one site I really miss.. RODiary. There's a replacement blog site for the RO community but it doesn't feel the same.

Thanks again. I can't wait to see your site fill up with guilds. Give it a bit. I'm sure the fish will bite. <3

P.S. - FTP works great. My program of choice is CoreFTP LE. Might I suggest making a small guide about FTP usage for those RO users that haven't had experience with it before? I think most people can figure it out, but you might get some questions about it here and there.

I would say this project is dead.
I am waiting now for almost 2 weeks on a response for a page request and nothing has happened.
I registered an Account as well on his forum and that got activated within 1 day so he clearly is alive but doesnt care about the project.

I propose to unsticky this thread until he decides to earn a sticky by updating and caring for his project.

Many apologies for my extended absence and for the downtime on the server. Let me offer some explanation.

Without going into too much detail on the 4th June I was hospitalized (you'll excuse me for not going into why) for over a week.

At the same time, on the 6th I believe, my VPS account which iroguild.com was hosted on expired. I was unable to renew the VPS from hospital, nor was I able to move iroguild.com to a different server.

Since leaving hospital, and while I am still in recovery I have endeavored to move the entire site, including everybody's account with iroguild to one of my dedicated servers.
This has not been easy and under the circumstances I believe shows I clearly DO care about this project. I could easily have just let it expire.


I would ask Shinji170981 to email again at: applications@iroguild.com and I will gladly set up his account.




If anyone who currently has an account is having any problems with it then please contact 'help@iroguild.com' and I will deal with it asap.



Please remember, iroguild.com is a project I run on my own in my spare time and although I strive for reliability I cannot forsee all problems!

In that light, if there is anybody with experience using cPanel (which I have finally given in to and bought a licence for), MySQL (phpMyAdmin) and general web administration
and spare time to help administrate iroguild.com then please email me at applications@iroguild.com and I'd be delighted to take on the help.

Everything is back up and running.
If I get time this week I'll automate the signup process so accounts are activated immediately and then check
them for authenticity manually. Will probably save me time and I doubt it will be abused =)

I have to say that this is a phenominal idea, and I am kind of suprised it hasn't been thought of before
