I've just migrated my clan mark thread only to find out that image posting is limited. So much for showing over 250 clan marks in one post

How about removing the image count limitation? Im sure I wont be the only one needing a lot of images in one thread...

This is something being looked into. The Current limitations are set on a board wide scale. Unfortunate it seems not possible to change this on a smaller scale.
and i know its a drag, i need it as wel for the clanleader list

I had same issues when I was trying to post preview pics for my calendar

to avoid restrictions I had to put all of them into one bigger picture in photoshop

it's a possible solution for some cases but unfortunately not for your issues :/

you have my vote for removing picture count restrictions ^^
(I don't mind keeping it for youtube links)

yea, I can see how merging all images into one would work for some, but unfortunately since each clan mark is a separate link to a download, wouldnt work for me, like you said

if they look hard enough they can infact change the limits of images ( per user account )
maybe they can do this for moderators at the very least so they can post the images for quests and such.

however they can also change the image max per section too they just need to get use to and learn all the features and tweaks for this software, ive been running many sites with it and ill tell you i i wont use anything else your options are pretty much umlimited.

We did increase the limit JLM, but not to the needed means you are asking for.

Fear is wrong in the assumption there is a setting to allow for it. Its a global group setting that we want to enforce which sadly makes your thread harder for you to manage.

You can retain a small sample on the forums, and then link to your own website with the full listing of the images.

when i said Tweaks maybe i should of made myself clear,
there is a script that will allow you to do this with ease its available for
free and there is a version for ipb 1.3 all the way up to the current 3.1.4

it allows you to go into each user settings and override the group settings for any 1 user you want to.
a much easier way to do this would be just pay $65.00 and get the ipb gallery if you have the disk space whice im sure you do.
then you could also get rid of the screen shot sections in all sub forums as well.
