she was getting hit and wasnt getting spheres. I was testing at bio1 :(

I'll go back and double check tonight. -- I'm at Harpies and shes not getting spheres in Grappler mode while shes being hit nor while attacking so something is wrong i -_- you not.

Grappler mode would work better in PvP just because of close confine. Cant close confine a monster :P With PvM you can combo from Sonic Claw[cast by the AI] and manually you can chain SR>MF>Sonic Claw and back into your long combo string as long as you got spheres and SP^.^

And yea folks without high str are gonna be pissed off when you tinder breaker > combos to them then Acid bomb them while they're locked

At last i got PainKiller ^^, tested it on PVP and it reduces everything in about 800 damage (it does not matter if it's fisical, magical, ranged... everything is reduced), multi-hit skills (like bolts) are reduced per hit and it can't be dispelled (noticed this on a MVP fight though).

I also went to ET alone to test it...well, it was a lame run cos my geneticist is still lvl 103, but I reached the 34th floor without problems. Pain Killer makes you immortal on all the non mvp levels and my lvl 123 Sera had no problems takning most of the low lvl mvps untill she got hit with the strong skills (the drake was the hardest to battle even if i was geared, but i think it's because of my lvl).

The best battle i had was vs the Moonlight Flower, i sent my Sera to tank her, she could handle everything except for her mamonite, but i had no problems in outrunning her and hide to resurrect my sera. She tried to stop me with bolts, but thanks to PainKiller they were reduced to 2 digit damage.

So let me get this straight, you got to floor 34 soloing at lvl 103? Just because of painkiller?

I tested Bayeri's Heilige Stange a bit today.

Ingame skill description:
Spoiler

- Cast can be interrupted
- Skill has range (1-9 cells it seems)

- The AoE damage works and area mentioned in the description seems accurate
- Damage seems to be MATK based (compared damage with Stahl Horn, can test more later with actual damage numbers)
- Misses from Holy property (tested in PVP with a royal guard with crusader set)

Tested Goldene Ferse + Stahl Horn damage again.

First test case was in Magma Dungeon 2 where damage was tested on Diabolic (150% damage from holy) and Nightmare Terror (175% damage from holy).
Stahl Horn dealt approximately 8300 - 9000 damage on its own.
With Goldene Ferse on Stahl Horn dealt approximately 8300 - 10500 damage.

Without Goldene Ferse the max damage was never higher or equal than max damage with Goldene Ferse.
Minimum damage seemed to be about the same with or without Goldene Ferse.

Second test case was in GH Churchyard on Dark Priest (200% damage from holy property).
Stahl Horn alone dealt approximately 8500 - 9100 damage.
With Goldene Ferse on Stahl Horn dealt approximately 8500 - 11800 damage.

Without Goldene Ferse the max damage was never higher or equal than max damage with Goldene Ferse.
Minimum damage seemed to be about the same with or without Goldene Ferse.

Third test case was in PvP against a royal guard with crusader set (holy property).
Stahl Horn alone dealt ~6600 damage.
With Goldene Ferse on Stahl Horn dealt 5987 damage consistently every time.
Vali's Manteau (-15% from neutral property) reduced the damage in both cases.

Then a sura decided to come and interrupt our testing by killing us. :P

It seems Goldene Ferse does affect Stahl Horn damage, but looks like it only has a certain chance of being holy property damage contrary to the skill description which implies Stahl Horn is always holy property when Goldene Ferse is on. Looks like the whole damage isn't converted to holy, but there is a part of holy property damage added (physical or magical, I don't know).

wow...doesnt painkiller give "Endure" effect as well? or is by chance or what? im not entirly sure how painkiller actually works aside from reducing massive dmg it seems. thats a litle broke that a homunculus skill gives the same effect as almost a raydrics reduc and an MVP card...

When you activate painkiller, you get 1 minute of Damage reduction, and 1 minute of endure.

The endure has a set number of hits though (7? 9? I forget). and after those hits expire, only the endure effect wears off.
(So if you cast it IN a mob of 10, all of them will hit you and take away endure. But you'll still have the damage reduction.

And the effect isn't the same as Raydric Card, it isn't -20% Neutral.
It's -850ish damage.

This means it is BETTER than raydric on monsters (400 - 850 = you take 1s)
However, on stronger hits (10k, Powered up MVP hit) raydric's 20% (10k - 20% = 8k) is better than the flat reduction (10k - 850 = 9,150)
([IIRC raydric works differently now that it's renewal [sATK/wATK and whatnot], but the idea is what I'm trying to show)

The problem with painkiller is that you can't use it on Sera. So while the Genetic is protected, the Homunc is still a free target for monsters.
And if you teleport alot, the mobs all target the homunc first.

----

For "Enduring" I prefer using my Eira.
500 Flee from overed boost lets me run around mobs in circles without worrying about getting hit.
I just can't stop and let the mob stay on me, or it'll cut my flee down XD;

I just end up kiting the mob and using Xeno Slasher to get the attention on the Eira. Or I just use Eira + Teleport so the monsters go for her first.

If you don't understand how it works, you should not be criticizing the impact of it.
Something to reflect on - the error of loudly critiquing things we do not understand is endemic to the human condition - you can hear it from almost anyone you know, or just listen to any politician - but it is rare to have this behavior so succinctly described as in the quoted post. If in our lives, we come to recognize that we do not really know much about something which bothers us, we have, I think, an intellectual obligation to either recognize that our objection to this something may not be reasonable, and to not articulate loudly it to others - and certainly not to act on it - or we must seek out knowledge on the matter at hand, not with the goal of proving our objections right, but with the goal of understanding the nature of this thing to which we objected - and then in the light of that understanding, determining whether it is as bad as we thought it was.

And that's your philosophical thought for the day.

Someone woke up on the wrong side of the troll-bed. lol yea i see what u mean, just an opinion really tho, not trying to critique nor criticize the skill. If it works like that id love it, as i play a genetic too.

Awesome thanks for the imput. And is says "Foe" on the wiki. Does that mean you can use it on other players as well?

E.Q.C. testing ( finally got around to it ) and WOW. Against a 150 Sura E.Q.C. did 15.5K burst damage + the DoT from C.B.C. taking him well into the red on his HP bar.

Not confirmed; but it seems that Fiberlock may lower Overed Boost's flee.

My Eira is fine in the Hazy Forest instance normally, but when the Pom Spiders Fiberlock her, she seems to lose HP rather quickly.
This is especially noticable in the final room with the 13 guardians all in one location... she can't tank the mob for me, so I can only get off 2~ or so cart cannons before running back into the portal. (Or spamming pots and tanking it myself, lol)

This may perhaps be false, as the monsters there should have: 5% / 15% / 17% / 29% / 39% chance of hitting my Eira.
I could just be getting unlucky... But the 20k HP drops REALLY fast.... >_>;
Someday when I'm not preoccupied with things, I might just test this in PVP with a Sorc.

Anyone who has a lv 122+ Dieter should be leveling it in magma 2 right now. Double exp + Quick kafra dungeon warp means I can level that thing super fast with magma flow (and make plenty of profit with a backpack while I'm at it.)

Volcanic Ash seems to work on MVPs.

My guild was breaking bloody branches, and I decided to try throwing down a Volcanic Ash on the MVP (Ktullanux).

He actually got bugged and just stood in place, not using skills or attacking (like regular mobs do sometimes when they interact with that skill). I didn't actually get to see if it was cancelling his regular spells though.

~2,5-3m/h normally; should be ~8,5-9m/h during the 3x event if you do it right. You'd be crazy not to powerlevel your Dieter now because you'll spend a lot more time leveling it later if you don't.

Went for a while to magma2 to level up my dieter, the exp was really good :). I'm just 7m exp away to lv 150 and I'm going to get it afking tonigt.

Found this stuff:
While on Pyroclastic effect, you cannot remove your equipment by using the equip window, changing equipment using the item windows works fine.

Magma flow effect: The effect looks to wear out after activating the skill effect few times, this could be my imagination tho...
Skills does not seem to trigger magma flow, only physical attacks. Hits hard enough

Some updates on Eleanor grappler combos here.

E.Q.C. does seem to be working correctly taking the HP differences into effect. See the front page for the player Sura tests. I tested on a angra mantis in bifrost... ~88K damage due to the higher HP of the monster.

E.Q.C. also does NOT work on MVPs ( it says it does not in the skill description, but I tested it to make sure it wasn't bugged and working ).

Eleanor can take out pharaoh by herself ( untanked for her / her tanking it) with aid pot ( and CCing the mobs away so you can target her ) @ 150 - probably could do it by 135 - 140 on a vani base. Player gets the MVP sign / rewards.

=3 I was in ET yesterday, and my 150 Eleanor took out ESL and Maya by herself. She needed 300 whites for tanking. Took longer then i expected so next time i do ET with her im bringing blue pots. Im glad she was tanking ESL. Because as far as i could see the boss was spamming Break Shield ALOT. Used Howling Dragon cry alot, and kept using a freeze attack. All of which did not affect Eleanor in anyway. That was pretty sweet to watch her stat immunity go into play.

With 25k hp and Sonic Claw it was very exciting to watch her kill it. Next time def wanna make sure im better suppiled and I'll try her extensive fighter combos. Low tier MVPs, and ghost monsters should not be any problem for our homunuculus. CCing the mob does conserve pots.
