At 6:50pm we began the full server restart procedure for all of RO.

This should clear up the login problems that began happening at 6pm.

The timing is doubly bad due to WoE being active on Ygg and about to be active on Ymir.
Ygg WoE is finalized, the castles are owned as they are owned now, but we will look into the treasure and final holders on Monday to try and be fair to those that lost due to the DC issues. I can't say what will be done because no time to look at the data yet.

Ymir WoE will have gates locked until 7:30pm to allow defenses to be setup by guilds, WoE will end at 9pm.

All VIP users will get another 3 days tacked on Monday.

We will extend the VIP bonus event, and do something special for everyone next Friday so all can enjoy next weekend.

I am sorry this happened, it wasn't anyones fault it just happens sometimes, right now we are working on fixing it and moving forward in the least disruptive ways possible. We will reset ET instance after 9pm on all servers, so if you were disconnected you can get back in.

Forums are slammed so I can't reply really, I am updating Facebook.

Ymir WoE starts in 13min and servers are not up. I don't feel that is adequate time for defenders to prepare. Maybe you should push it back to 7:45. Just a suggestion.

I dont really see how waiting until monday is "fair". Those of us who lost our castles during the time servers were down lose 2 days of treasure now. That means the supplies that guilds like my own can barely afford are basically wasted and now the small amount of treasure that barely kept us going is going to be cut down even more? honestly, that is far from "fair". Can you just roll back until before woe or find some way to reimburse the guilds that spent thousands of slims and other supplies on woe?

We aren't going to be rolling the castles back, we do not have the staff in place to do it now, and it isn't really fair to everyone anyway. Instead we will be giving out free treasure most likely so everyone kinda wins.. Waiting to Monday when we can actually look at teh data and do it correctly is what will happen. I am not at work, I had to change from my lounge pants to my forum pants to try and help the communication and resolution of this. I don't have perfect info about the ins and outs of this right now, other than we are working fast and trying to restore at least the game and hopefully keep as much of the WoE activity as possible.

Seems there may be a Yggdrasil server problem right now which is keeping the servers from all coming up. Ymir WoE will be delayed past 7:30 but the gates will be closed until Def are set.

LOL's ppl asking for rollback to get back supplies, i dont see any quams in using the same supplies for the next woe. unless you are stingy as and don't give diddly squat except "so called great" supplies and cant really ask your guildmates to save it for next woe.

For your info, Heim...the DDoS attack started even before Valk WoE started. It was affecting many of my guild member's chats and Character Login. Even I was DC'ed several times just for switching map servers. I wasn't lagging or anything, but the constant DC'ing and Character Login issues suggests this is the case.

Did your problem start at 6pm or were you one of the handful that had it from many hours earlier?
The few we have tried aren't resolved even by the maint which means it is a different problem giving the same symptoms. Those accts will need more love to resolve I fear. We will restore and restitute them, but I don't want to get confused about our more current bigger scope issue.

Cannot log on for Ymir WoE.

still can't log in on a VIP account. Was able to WOE on valk server. DC 30-45 mins after valk woe. Funny thing is, my other VIP account can be log in but not the other. Weird.

Should I send a ticket or anyone else experiencing it? having 2 VIP accounts, but can only access one to log in?

got dced twice before 6pm but still can login back. after 6pm only started got error out of playing time when dced
