What do you think, genius? Considering that the login issues are a major problem, and we just had another DDoS attack right before the maint, I'd think that would be highly likely.

As for how long it's going to be, maybe you should ask the GM's.

Considering I just started today, and the lag reminded me of my dial-up days.... It should be obvious, no? You were playing before it went down, right? lol

Considering I just started today, and the lag reminded me of my dial-up days.... It should be obvious, no? You were playing before it went down, right? lol

You don't lag on RO when you use Dial-up internet if you use it right. Trust me, I know since I use Dial-up at home. Only times the lag would occur is if there really is an issue with the servers. And yeah...It's been pretty bad ever since some azz decided to start DDoS the servers.

Really, TK? I might have to try dial-up, then, because Frontier SUCKS. The game itself is usually fine but my load times are horrible. I could never be a guild leader because I'd never be able to make a God Item. =(

There are certain things you simply cannot do if your ping is never below 200ms that you can do if your ping is 10-50ms. You can play okay, and you can spam things to make sure a billion packets get sent to the server and your actions happen properly, but on your screen it's still going to look funny.

There are certain things you simply cannot do if your ping is never above 200ms that you can do if your ping is 10-50ms. You can play okay, and you can spam things to make sure a billion packets get sent to the server and your actions happen properly, but on your screen it's still going to look funny.

Yeah, your actions are slower. Especially when it comes to using things like potions or whatever supplies. Then again, it's better to be extremely stable rather than lagging when there's over 50+ people in a single room during WoE. At least I don't have to complain about lag while everyone else does when there aren't problems with the servers.

No, you don't want to use Dial-up when trying to make a God Item. Especially if you play for a guild that requires you to use Vent to communicate. This is one major flaw with Dial-up.
