Poked Ama2, hate the firelocks. A few more deaths and I won't care anymore though. >.>;

Really, I just want a small, mobby, no ranged monsters, unbranchable map.

And that looks like Turtle Island.

Tried Turtle Island for a bit with my 90 Vani, found that he dies if left to himself.

Granted I think I was the only one there so what I did for testing was walk around but didn't help my Vani at all. He ended up dying so I'll have it give it a go again once he's 99.

The problem with TI is all the obstacles. I'll try that today, but I think the obstacles are going to make proper AI behavior near unattainable.

You want a small mobby map with no ranged monsters and few obstacles. I don't think a map like that exists though. We get Ama2 with lots of ranged monsters, not too much terrain (there are a few homun traps, but they're avoidable), and we get TI surface with lots of obstacles but no ranged monsters.

For TI field, couldn't the obstacle problem be fixed by making the range that your Homun can wander short? Honestly the only reason why I have a long range of movement on my homun for OD2 is because of that freaking orc archer. But since all the monsters are Melee, you can let them come to you intsead of you going to them.

I'll try TI today as well, once I add in all the mobs there to the AI.

Might as well add in the stuff in Ama2, Nif, and Muscovia as well, I suppose.

OD2 with the few archers
OD1 with 10 EXP less per kill

TI xp isn't bad on my 96 Vani. But having to roam. Only having issues when my homun gets 4 or more things on it (with two of them pests). Permeter are annoying but not as impossible as I thought they'd be with their aid pots.

Not seeing anyone else, might try Ama2 in a bit.

Let's give some more aggressive treatment to TI surface, it seems pretty good. With some chems there we could get a decent spawn going.

It clearly was not, as there is no way to spawn the Bio3 MVPs. You were killed by a normal Bio3 sinx most likely, and those can be spawned by DBs or via poly.

Not so sure about this anymore. The map has more space than it looks like, and the monsters are harder and give less exp than the ones in amatsu dungeon.

Er - wait, do the monsters in Ama2 still have a respawn delay?

They're only lvl 80, and they only give 2x the exp of a zenorc. I don't think that's good enough.

That and the drops are terrible, I think we should get a vip hom levelling map or something
The vip maps we already have would be awesome (overlook /slur) but because my gen is too high I can get in them to level my low level hom :mellow:

No, mino map is the maze which isn't really that big. It's kind of like east half of OD2. The only thing it has going for it is no ranged monsters since minos only give around 100 EXP more than zenorcs... well that and the immortal hearts that would flood the market from all the dead verits /slur

Everyone needs to just stay in amatsu instead of leaving. I know everyone wants easy exp and to be able to afk but if everyone goes there and sees no one and leaves, we are never going to have enough people on that map to be able to afk level with a good spawn rate. I'm on Ymir and I'll be in amatsu daily, my sera is116 now and od ain't cutting it. Plus having the aoe skills disabled doesn't help either. Once they implement them again I'll probably level normally and only afk when I don't have the time to grind.

Was just at Turtle Island with my pure forger. Weird, I could have sworn that it was way more mobby back in pre-renewal. Maybe that was because people actually activelly leveled there so it kept the spawns up.

Today and it was pretty good despite it being only me and some bard there.

The dragons seem to be everywhere, a couple of snakes here and there and mantis too. And looking at the drop rate for all of them, good drops as well. Map doesn't seem to big to me.
My vani was able to tank 5 dragons no problem.

Well one this is for sure, this is no place for a regular 2-2 class with a level 98 Vanilmirth Pure forger.

But since this thread is more for Genetic, just thought I'd mention it. This place is so freaking mobby. Dat butterfly girl. Also drops great. It's also worth to mention that Enchanted Peach Tree does have shorter range than Orc archer, making them less annoying.

The most my Vani can take on is 3 butterflies at best.

I farm royal jellies in that dungeon. The mobs there just hit too hard for a homunculus to level there safely, I think. And I don't think I could afk, I'd be too tempted to greed for dead branches, jellies and zipper bear cards.
