Its your crit minus their crit shield, so it depends on the target. If you have 100 crit and they have 15 crit shield, you'll only have 85% effective crit rate.

Getting 100 crit on a GX is pretty easy though. 2x rogues treasure, 70 luk and new world food gets you ~100 crit. Weapon cards that have +crit rate are more or less obsolete now. If you get a backpack 90 luk for the 15% crit damage would be worthwhile i think.

i mean. generally when people talk about 100 crit is it implied it is the window critx 2? or is there an actual way to get 100 window crit.

@Hrotmund so we need to have more than 100 crit to 100% crit certain mvp's ?

Also if 100 window is possible would that mean its 100% crit to any/all mvp assuming nothing has more than 100 crit shield.

well Atroce for example has 113 luk (22 crit shield) so you'd need 122 crit or 61 window crit to crit on him 100%. Kiel on the othe hand has 180 luk or 36 crit shield, I think thats about the highest there is that you could do without a shield/tanking mvp.

Another option to get more crit is swapping flamelord ring to get Fury status, then swapping back to RT for a "free" 10 crit. If all else fails abrasives from kafra shop add 30 crit for 5 minutes and are pretty cheap.

considering crit def or crit shield is target luk/5 . The max for mvp being 180 LUK
so that lowers it to 136 overall crit rate or 68 window crit for MVP.

Question : So whats are the best ways to get 68 window crit?

Rogue's treasure is better if you have the stats for it - I go for the aspd to proc the katar faster

Throw on an abrasive (which is also not on the calc)
THEN : if you really need more crit, SS carded durga (or some such) and/or lady luck from a dancer class.
