So the price of steel on Ygg server has gone way up recently. Ragial says the average is around 10k but a more realistic average is more like 14-15k when they're really supposed to be just 5k. I know there were quests recently requiring steel, but there aren't any Brasilis Spotlight quests that require steel right?? Why hasn't the price gone back down yet? It takes too long for me to go farm it and the price of steel is really discouraging me from forging.

Steel is still around 5k on Valk, so I have no idea. Maybe people aren't leveling in Juperos on Ygg?

steel should never really go higher than around 5k really...

ask a Genetic Nicely to Break down some Store Bought Tsurugi's (store version) each breaks down to 10 Steel most wont mind unless they're the ones price gouging..

The ceiling on the value of steel is dictated by change material. I play Yggdrasil and I have a genetic, so if you need Tsurugi's broken down, ask me nicely. I am usually in eden 2 by the kafra.

3,876z per steel with level 10 discount I believe (51,000z Tsurugi [1] is 38,760z after discount). Each Tsurugi [1] makes 10 steel.

Is Change Material always 100%? I remember making Heroic Emblems with that skill but it failed a couple of times.

Depends of the materials. Some are 100% success [Tsurugi is the case], some are not.

I think they all have pre-defined success rates not determined by your stats. I believe the success on alcohol through change material to be about 66.667% for example, and steel to be 100%.
