Firewall: don't need it, you'll have better ways of stopping people/things and in woe a lot of peps tend to wear fire/wind armor still.
and other classes do walls much better.
Fireball: actually not useful on a sorc because the damage isn't enough for higher level monsters, but still awesome spell to hindsight for the wee nubs
Frost Driver/Stone Curse: Save your life/ freeze or stone a
. I recommend maxing one of these especially for WoE/pvp.
players have to make big sacrifices to be immune to both.
Study 9: So, end game you'll probably end up using a staff. Study is just in the way of fiberlock and dragonology.
Indulge 3: minimum if you plan to party seriously.
Hindsight 4: This is actually all you need, honestly as a sorc you'll be killing stuff with pwaves and spellfist. But Linked Hindsight
is still the most competitive spell you have for mvping.
Varetyr Spear 3: VS needs striking and full endows to make the most of it's damage, otherwise just get the prereqs for ventus.
Earth Grave 5 or Diamond Dust 5: Pick one as your secondary AOE and max the corresponding endow. DD cast faster and may be better for a low dex build.
Magnetic Earth 1: Why? ME doesn't block a lot of stuff it really should and you can't insta cast it with your stats. But having it
for the odd situation can be useful.
Elemental Action: Dun really need it.
Spirit Cure 1: Want!. Save money on elemental stones by keeping your summons alive longer, Summons inherit your flee +100
so if you have 350 -400ish flee your summons hardly get hit and it's easy to keep them healed up with this skill.
I think some people get confused and think this skill heals 10% of summon's Hp/SP for a cost of 10% of the summoners HP/SP.
But it's more like
10% of sorc HP=2000 =amount summon healed for...yeah
Spirit Sympathy 1: Have yet to encounter a situation where i wished my summons had more HP, High Flee FTW!
Aqua 2: She is very useful at level 3 too, but minimum 2 just for her water armor buff and elemental pwave.
Insignia lvl 2: They are really awesome with their forced element change, have at least one of them at level 2.
Killing Cloud 5: So I really like this skill and I use it like a firewall, lol. It does about 100K over it's duration to most mobs.
It's also huge lols to trap a player in it and cast quite fast.
