http://forums.irowiki.org/showthread.php?p=913264#post913264EDP also affects SD as well, but it was nerfed to only increase damage by 2x instead of 4x.

damn edp effects it too? thats pretty op seeing how i was sding ppl for like 9k in pvp. -_-s gonna hurt in strings with edp
EDP is now nerfed to the point where it has about the same effect as maximum power thrust, at approx 300x the price.
I'm not saying thats a bad thing, but they could probably do with revisiting the cost of making EDP with the recent changes.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Maxmum Power-Thrust's bonus damage (preRenewal) actually just added a flat +100% damage modifier, making regular attacks do 2x damage, while making skills like Mammonite go from a 600% modifier to an 800% modifier. At least edp still actually doubles the entire skill damage. . .EDP is now nerfed to the point where it has about the same effect as maximum power thrust, at approx 300x the price.

Well that's true, but I think they've come to a rather illogical conclusion. It's unlikely gravity would change the skill to have different modifiers for different types of attack. I just don't think they were testing it out properly or there is another variable in their tests that they did not account for. jRO tests show edp is still unchanged, and I don't see why they would have it different than us. The skill still says 4x damage, so I'm going with that until someone figures out how it's handled.

You forget that in jRO they have a completely different attk formula. S.atk isn't doubled while Str directly either increases e.atk or w.atk (No tests to confirm either) so from a general test it looks like 4x especially if you have a weapon. You should ask the jRO players to test EDP without a weapon before they get the EDP nerf and be unable to!
