The Spring has Sprung Event has been going on for several weeks now, the Develops want to know what you think of the event.

Here are a few questions we'd like answers to, but feel free to go outside these perimeters and let us what you enjoyed and didn't enjoy about this event.
  • What did you enjoy most about this event?
  • What did you enjoy least about this event?
  • Out of all the combinations which one did you use most?
  • Feedback or any other information you think we should know?

This feedback will be sent directly to the developers and are using your feedback to create future events.

1. The cute balloon designs.
2. The lack of incentive to make use of these balloons. Aside from leveling, they do not do very much to enhance gameplay experience. I also did not like the nature of required logging in to receive the balloons--not because I dislike logging on, but because more often than not a player logs on to AFK to get these rather than play.
3. I did not make use of the combinations as I have capped characters I spend most of my time on.
4. These events are creative and nice but ultimately do very little than add leveling bonuses. Furthermore, no player will seek any combination other than the highest EXP rate increasing one, due to the nature of their only use being for leveling. Their method of obtainment via logging in also not very desirable in my opinion because it does not encourage meaningful gameplay. I realize a majority of a player's time is spent leveling his character, but overall I would prefer an event that adds depth or something fresh to experience [For example, I enjoyed the Sakura Event last year as it had something new and exciting to offer]. Even repeating old events with new features proves to be both nostalgic and entertaining [Cookie Factory and its new additions this year]. Not that every event should have a new Mission Map, but these events are far more preferable than simply logging on to receive a balloon and then figuring out the best possible EXP combination. These would be nice as supplementary event items rather than the main course.

Thank you for the topic, Hastur.

1: Nothing, really. You're hard pressed to find people who actually participated, so you can't really take advantage of any buffs.

2: The event was so passive that I didn't even really care about it.

3: lol

4: I really think events should actually involve playing the game in the future.

  • What did you enjoy most about this event? Honestly nothing...
  • What did you enjoy least about this event? All i had to go was sit afk to get the tickets.
  • Out of all the combinations which one did you use most? N/A
  • Feedback or any other information you think we should know? As a level 80 this was probably one of the most boring events I've ever done. I literally did nothing for this event except log on and afk for 30mins to get tickets...

Only balloon that was useful as Kazu said was the one that gave the highest exp boost (cherry blossom). The others were completely useless. The buffs on the other balloons were...just terrible. I looked up the buff chart on IAH's site to see if there were any actual good buffs. 30% gold increase? I'm going to assume the gold increase would be from the abundant COPPERS that drop from monsters. 30% of a couple of coppers really isn't that much if you think about it. It might've made a difference if the bombs in f7 were fixed and actually dropped stuff but currently, nope, still useless.

At first when I heard about this event, I was excited because I thought maybe just MAYBE.. the trip/laptop/mp3/etc balloons were going to be given out so that everyone would be on equal ground. I saved up all my vouchers (about 25?) in hopes that a USEFUL balloon would be added. Alas, it was only a dream.. :Emo_14: . The balloon event is coming to an end and so, the other day I was forced to decide what to do with my vouchers
1) Leave them in my inventory and hope they work for a future event for future items that are better (pfft)
2) Buy all of the balloons just so they can sit in my inventory and be useless
3) Choose between a) useless balloon B) useless balloon c) useless balloon but cute d) exp balloon - semi useful for leveling

hmm still 20 vouchers left....buy more cherry blossom balloons?

And for the record, yes everyone I know including me, just logged on and afked for the voucher and signed off...or afked some more.

Thank you all for you feedback and constructive criticisms. We've compiled your feedback and are in the process of submitting a report to the Developers.

More Feedback Request threads will be popping up over the next few weeks, so keep an eye out and let your voice be heard.
