Do we have some sort of misunderstanding here or something? What did I do pee in your coke some ages ago? Why you keep coming at me like this?

For one Snap I rarely use in woe, it bugs like crazy. 99% of the Suras on Ymir use speed pots.

I don't think you read what he/she said. They spent 3 hours leveling from novice->99 sura. It's similar to leveling those 9 characters. You may as well say that people that have 3 150+ characters have no life.

Anyway, I want to know what the changes for summoner npc are, did anyone test it on sakray? I know that the requeriments won't be the same (1-2 badges), maybe they'll put between 4-8 badges depending on the mvp, and if it's this way, maybe it'll stil be very beneficial having so many suras in an account.
These are just my thoughts, please be free to express yours.

Perhaps MVP cards are "too" rare? And others of them too powerful.

Some of them cry out to have multiples just for them to be effective, others a single one can be a crazy powerup. I think if GTB and maybe Bishop and Tao were not being considered I don't think the OP calls would be warranted. Mistress has always been a "fun effect" that would be used alot of I had it, but hardly makes my character more powerful than someone with a stack of gems. But effects that exist in no form except that MVP card certainly have a tendency of OPed ness. Also if GTB wasn't so easy it would balance out with difficulty, but it is the hand we are dealt.

Some servers have lots of some of those due to age and sporadic events, there are 2 opposing schools of thought on limiting or adding more in that are both correct based on opinion. If compounded cards in gear could be made untradable or something then we would have much more freedom to bring more in the game than currently because their impact on overall game play would be diminished. Realistically it isn't how many exist it is how many of them are being used against you in your day to day gameplay. Ditto for God items.

MVPs would have to be soloable to most the server for untradeablity on mvp cards to be "fair".

edit : In terms of WoE GTB is far downhill from Bishop and Tao. GTBs only OPness now essentially only works for MVPing. In WOE it's "nice" but easilly balanced out by the crazy amount of one shot bs that goes on around it and resists very little (use it to walk over manholes and troll WLs spamming CL on your probably wind armor anyway). GTB is probably more close to gloom in terms of "power".

Things HAVE to be rare so people have long term goals on items you want, it adds longevity to the game. What's the point if you can get everything without effort?

You can always make a Gypsy Kisser slave and your Gfist would hit as if you're on double megs. It's not really hard to make your Gfist still formidable despite the delay.

You clearly have no idea how easy lvling is =[


To all the people saying the MVP summoner is a bad idea I would like to say.

1.Its not "EASY" and when I say easy I mean its not something that doesnt come w/o dedication. I have Killed 700 MVP with 2x DROP and HE Gum on ALL of them and still no card. I have spent alittle over 2 Bil trying to get atleast a MVP and there is no garantee I would get it.

2.The MVP summoner takes out some of the MOST ANNOYING RANDOM FACTORS IN THIS GAME.
I do 40-50% of the MVP in valk on my gen when Im awake and nothing makes me more annoyed when a card drops of the trash spawn when ur on the process of kill the MVP. This has happened to me more than 20 times already out of the time span I have played this game. Just this week alone I have gotten 6 Card drops but none of them are MVP once while in the process of searching and killing of the actual MVP. One of which was Tao gunka which in Valk is pretty much Dead as it spawns. Due note that I had to wake at 2 in the morning to do this aswell as Spent billions of Zeny for Convex Mirros to get a good chance on a Kill to get a small shot at the card.

3.Out side of Tao for DB,GoH/Hibram for HW,Sorc are there realy any other mvp cards out there that are realy game braking? I know a person with 2 Kiel Cards and he still needs strings during woe. Its not like iRO cant do anything about this things. They could probibly even just take out those 2 mvps out of the list.

4.People thing that 0.02 chance to get something mean that killing 5000 of the same thing would GARANTEE you atleast 1 of them when its totaly not. I have killed less than that but has gotten atleast 1 card while in the mean time I have friends who has MVP for more than over a years worth of Summoner and Natural Spawn and has Never gotten one. Its all down to luck

5.Most of the HIGH END MVPs like Ifrit,Beelzebub have 8-11 hour spawn times. No one wants to wake up every 11 hours to make sure they kill an mvp. Your bound to something that might happen but also might not happen entierly. I have known people who camp and rarely lose the spawn only to lose once and the card drops. The MVP summoner makes you "FARM" the mvp at your own phase and time w/o having to deal with external factors.

6. It is not a CHEAP PROCESS. Not everyone who just started to play that game can do mvp summoner of the bat and most of the people who complain about MVP cards being farmable should try farming one first to know howmuch dedication/time/effort/Zeny,$$ it actualy takes to make it efficient/possible. Especialy now that 90% of the MVP drops are considered useless and doesnt even sell on vends to cover the supplies on killing them.

7.If MVP cards are being to farmable why stop now? I see Woe.1 God items poping every 2months or so and it doesnt take a MVP summoner for them to pop up. I dont see anyone complain about those things so why complain about this? The sad part about this entry is that MVP cards are based on chance to aquire and a low one at that while woe 1 god items which are just as good has a garanteed process of creation.

Although I hear every once thoughts on how "MVP Summoner will make MVP cards more of a common thing now due to its farmable nature with the MVP summoner" I Disagree that its as easy as you think it is. Even with the 2x Drop Rates we get so often. BBs have been in the game yet not eveyone is rolling with Hibrams/Taos/GTBs/Thanas. This game will eventualy reach that point it may not be now it may not be in the next yeaar but it will eventualy happen MVP summoner/BB in the game or not.

The overabundance of god items and mvp cards sets the barrier of entry to competitive play on ymir too high. It also puts kRO's balance updates on their ear. Someone running around on a sura with 2 kiel hyre cards and a megingjard or two, for example, is a demonstration of what mvp cards can do. They aren't supposed to exist in quantity. Super fast Knuckle Arrow that pretty much 3 shots anyone or super fast GoH, its ridiculously strong. People shouldn't be able to farm MVPs. Hell, sltoted mids which were not supposed to become common are even part of this problem.
