Does anyone know how to get to the dungeon known as glast heim cave? I've spent a great amount of time in the Glast Heim area and have never seen an entrance to the cave.

This map shows where the portals lead. GH cave are the lowest two levels.

Holy hell....I guess this is why people do turn ins. Regardless I will cut my way to the deepest recesses of this accursed dungeon, grind on majoruroses and hopefully return with an elven bow. More then likely I'll get to culvert 4 and realize I had not re-uped on carrots. If anyone wants to obtain an elven bow the old fashion way, they are welcomed to come with me, though I doubt people remember what it was like to hunt gear.

(tip: take LOTS of flywings for this journey)

bottom mid-ish portal on glast heim
bottom right portal on gl_church
left portal on gl_chyard
top right portal gl_sew02
bottom left gl_sew03
This puts you on a map with anolians and gargolyes, that is decent for hunting elven bow and carga mace (gl_sew04)
or you can keep going another 2 maps down to the bottom cave

random fact : back in the day, levelling in gl_sew02 was the way to go

I've been down there quite often. Farming beef head and hoping to get elven bow dropped.. haha

why would you want to hunt your bow in glastheim cave? there are only 15 gargyoles on that map according to iro wiki. the glastheim culverts maps have 30, 40 and 55 gargoyles.

last week i farmed two elven bows in culverts 3 (40 gargyoles) cause i felt like thats the fastest map for that, even though it has those annoying stings.
you should make haste though, double drops end tomorrow i think.

I'm not there for the gargoyles, majoruroses offer sick experience and I'm fairly sure I can one shot them. I'm breaking out into the world instead of doing the TIs, Finding such cool areas. It's like going into the center of the earth diving all the way down into glast heim cave, where no one can hear you scream....

They have pretty high def iirc so one shotting might be a little hard! take lots of flywings / teleport clip so you can wing around and find them much faster.

I remember when cramps did splash damage and one of them could slaughter all the leeching acos in stings. This was before gargoyles were even added into the game.

My prefered route is Enter the Labyrinth (bottom left in Glast Heim outside map) and teleport to middle (there are a couple easy routes if you teleport near the middle) but if you have no patience then don't bother.

But yeah Labyrinth brings you out to Sewers level 2 just south of the sewer level 3 portal, very fast route, no teleporting on level 2 of sewers, I just walk to level 3 and kill goyles on the way, then its straightforward.
