Until I am a ranger which bow would be better:
Orc archer bow with steel arrows
or my own creation:
+8-10 Double Bound (for the slots, ATK and for the semi-useful perhaps added damage and use of DS which doesn't get used really when ctrl-clicking because..i just can't seem to get it to work unless I sto pattacking first. I want to put a Paper or Mobster card in it, a skeleton archer, and a drosera card. Along with Crit rings about a good amount of luk, I have a lot of autoblitzes, tons of crit and crit damage- and all ranged damage upped by the archer skeleton card. This would be an excellent bow for all none elemental mobs.
Let me know
Cheers
Which Bow would be better for a sniper?

I used an extending cursed lyre (Injustice card) until I was a ranger where I switched to an elven bow. I like ctrl+clicking though so that was a good bow for me. I've heard that the hunter bow with hunting arrows is very good. Not only is the hunter bow free (assuming you got one from the hunter test) but the arrows are NPC-buyable (if you have access to Mora). I find the main problem with the OAB and steel arrows is that the steel arrows are either very hard to make or very expensive to make.
The one drawback to the hunter bow you get from the NPC is that you can't card it, but if it's a temporary bow until you can get an elven, it's probably the cheapest and most effective bow you can get.

Tbh, attempting to socket enchant a Hunter Bow is really cheap. I got 2 of them out of 16 attempts, then I managed to +7 one and I put a Drosera Card in. Pretty boss for a very inexpensive weapon. The Double Bound idea seems cool, but I think it's more practical and faster to go for a Hunter Bow [1]. The only downside is that you're restricted to using Hunting Arrows, which are always neutral element.

ya I don't like using Elemental Converters and I do not have an Endow Sage. Arn't elemental bows + card + arrows best for elements? I am thinking the bow I want to mae would be superior - especially with a crit build - for other neutral monsters than either a hunter or orc archer bow.

Sadly the elemental arrows are out dated. The way the mechanics are now, a size or race % mod only affects part of your attack. On the flip side a % mod on Ranged Attack Damage affects all of your attack. So basically elemental arrows are useless, along with the elemental bows in comparison to the Hunter Bow, Orc Archer Bow and Elven Bow with their corresponding arrows. (I hate this change).
So as suggested the best dmg will come from one of those three bows with their arrow.
