I'm making a noob that needs to learn burn skill but I can't take the pheonix slash/sucker punch branch due to lack of SP, so which one is better?

Plasma Falcon needs 4SP from Flame Hawk and 4SP from Plasma Falcon, so 8SP total. It is 100% success rate with burn duratioin 5 seconds, and I guess 15m ranged reliable magic attack skill? (1200 skill power, 92MP consumption)

Flame slash needs 9SP stand alone. It is 85% success rate with burn duration 10 seconds, close ranged reliable weapon attack skill (1020 skill power, 37MP consumption)

I'm gonna take the chance to test it on Pegasus today as well XD

I think all the burns had different damage per second effects(The sucker punch tree being the highest damage/sec).

Phish probably can confirm that statement.

2nd best, I think is Plasma Falcon due to it being magic dmg vs weapon.

I thought burn is like 500HP per second and only the duration matters?

I can't remember who but someone told me that each of them have a different dmg/sec burn effect.

I want to say it was Seb, but I doubt it was him...

Kevin you are probably thinking of poison skills, Des is right. Flame Slash i 100% success too by the way.

Personally I find Plasma Falcon more effective, due to it's raw magical power since most classes have more defence over magic defence.
