whats the deal with some people?

I haven't even played for a month yet and some people call me, "moron, dumb, etc". I explain to them I really wanted the dog to auto attack first but then the insults come as soon as I mention that. I've been told I should reset (which I just found out recently) to fix my build.
Ever since I became Ranger I don't advertise for party I just go kill slowly in the nogg TI. Sometimes I get a random invite and I let them know I don't have AS and they are pretty cool with it. But sometimes there is always 2-3 people who will tell me I'm a fool for going my route.
Is it so wrong in the build route im going? I only planned to get Warg Strike Level 5 then work on getting AS, then work on the other Warg skills.

Haha, true enough. I'm just ticked off because people tell me I need to do it this way and that way. Being called an idiot several times is getting to me.

Though the burst you get from Arrow Storm is sexy. Getting 20k bursts already on level 100/7 [storm 1] makes you have a great potential to kill.
My build is supposed to be Storm (1) > Camou (5) > Storm (10) > "something" Trap (5). Not planning to go ASPD way because I plan to be PVM only on ranger.

Monks get this treatment as well with Mental Strength, even though it does make you nigh invulnerable you end up moving like a turtle and you can't do anything other than auto-attack, TI parties most often just move around a lot so I hardly see the point in being xXxZefirofxXx's Elunium Fishing Hook.
Now if you want to hold the attention of an MvP that you can't just drop in (almost) one Lex'd Guillotine Fist, then Mental Strength makes this a breeze, just be sure to get some other people to help out since you won't be doing much damage with all the auto-attacks and Raging Trifecta Blows.

If non-TI levelling (which I do a lot of), warg helps because you'll always get that odd one or two mob scenario which isn't worth the effort or SP cost of ASing, yet they're there for the killing.
Sure, it burns a couple more arrows but your exp gain per hour is boosted by what, 20% instead of skipping them?

Players need to become more creative and think outside of the box in terms of builds, though unfortunately your limitations are usually your gear/skill tree.

Yus, I wanted to trap(post balance) on my ranger while mounted on a warg without having warg ride. That was slow leveling

As long as your character does what you want it to.
I have a baby battle AB which I personally think i was a tard for making but damn...it's fun.
And quite frankly... the fun is all that matters
Heh maybe i'll actually trans a class now that it's not the slow prerenewal rates. on the other hand prerenewal meaning years ago on loki I got to meet and chat with a lot of people while outside of payon dungeon Spent more time chatting then leveling.

Don't worry bro, I did the same thing, first skill I got on my first 3rd class was cart tornado. I wanted to make a build around it until I found out that it has a stupidly long after cast delay that isn't reduced by attack speed....SERIOUSLY ITS A SUPER CART REVO IT SHOULD FOLLOW CART REVO MECHANICS...but I digress. Its trial and error, but more importantly its what is most fun. F the haters
Cart Tornado is "that one skill" you have no damn reason to max. Level 1 is the best DPS, because can be spammed as fast as a 180aspd Rolling Cutter.
Cart Tornado is very more effective than some other things, but as the damage looks low, people don't respect it. My genetic using HF +0 was hitting 3k on each hit of Tornado 1, with cart full and remodeling lv5, and with only 100 str. I like the skill, and people call me stupid because I'm not pure cart cannon either. Should had brought a pure cart tornado build though instead of hybrid. 110 str, 80 agi, 50 vit and 50 dex... could work.
