Hello everyone.

I made this topic to try to get some help in kill MVP, not the strongest ever, the very first ones.

So, me and my buddy we play together, I'm a High Priest 94/60 and he is a Rune Knight 100/10.
We have been leveling together (Not every time since he is ahead of me) and we always chasing new challenges.

Every week we go to the Endless Tower and try to kill the GTB and Mistress. And lately, not even GTB is dying.

We have managed the GTB twice when I was a Priest and he was a Lord, but now that we are stronger for some reason the GTB don’t die anymore.

GTB.
In the successful attempts I was a priest spaming KE and he was a lord spaming white potions after GTB’s Mamonita, but now that I don’t have KE anymore, Assumption is not holding this massive damage and he dies quickly after the Mamonita because my heal not strong enough to put he’s HP in a safe amount before GTB use magnum break (he’s HP turn black after Mamomita and sometimes it one shot him.)
We tried Safe Wall (level 10) spam, but it was no good against his constantly reborn adds.

So my question is, how can my buddy Rune Knight withstand against the might blows of the Golden Thief Bug, and how I can heal him

Mistress.
We only got to her twice, and the problem the same I have with GTB. When she use the might attack its one shot and high overkill. The Rune Knight is using a Dokebi (Wind Armor) and Dustiness (30% res wind). The rest of the fight is quite easy since he’s HP don’t drop against mistress’s puny auto attack

How can he survive a Jupiter Thunder that over kill for 4k?

Get a bomber and a Sura for MS tank, and you all good

for GTB make sure he's using a bigfoot shield (valk shield best) and a fire armor. Use assumptio, not KE. You can try spamming SW over and over, it might not help as much as the fire armor tho. The RK has to pot. You can't expect to outheal MVPs all the way.

As for missy, he needs kafra blossom carded accessories, or glorious rings, the same shield that I suggested for GTB and if she still hurts, sue a thunderproof potion.

Again, pots. Your heal is never going to be strong enough until you are both over level 130.

When you say i need a fire armor, does this mean that just because GTB is a Fire type, he's attacks are all fire types?
Is this also true for every other MVP and monsters?
And if this is true, Raydrick card that protects against neutral is useless against
non-neutral monsters?
As for the shield, the Rune Knight is the only DPS, does MVP in Ragnarok have "berserk" if you don’t kill them quickly?

Its for magnum break. Elemental armors are for monster skills, the monster element makes no difference.

you can look up the MVPs and their skills. Then check the wiki and you will see what elements the skills use and how they work. What blocks them, etc.

Not every MVP has a beserk mode. Neither GTB or missy do. Sometimes its better to slow down your dps a little and live, than to go all out dps.

Oh, I understood now, the skill is fire type, not the monster attacks.

One more thing, the shield that reduce against bugs, does it reduce skill and magic damage?
Like, the shield can reduce the damage from the Mammonite, Magnum Break and Mistress's Jupter Thunder? In case that’s not true, what is the condition to make this protection counts.

The racial shields work on all damage, including magic and skills.
