Decent equips for a crusader to tank?

Are you wondering what to use?

Are you a crusader, or crusader-class (ie, sader/pally/RG)?

Do you have any other characters (ie, so you would care whether other classes could wear something)?

It's a Crusader non-trans non-rebirth i have tons of chars but i wanna know what equips are good just for my crusader so they can tank

Main things are usually raydric card, racial card in shield, and sometimes headgear. Peco-carded armor is nice, or glorious suit (low defense though). Goibne's set is a pretty popular set for all the HP they give and how cheap they are, but variant shoes are pretty cheap lately on valk server.

Raydric cards are not exactly cheap so many people might stick them into their end game garment, like nid garb, diabolus manteau, heroic backpack, valkyrian manteau, and so on. Problem with that is some of those are for trans-characters only, so you'd have to be a paladin or high swordsman to wear it. Or they might have a high level requirement. For leveling a non-trans character, vali's manteau is pretty nice too with the 15% neutral resist.

Some racial reduction shield cards are not that cheap either and you might want to put them in an end-game shield too. Otherwise, you could put them in any shield with decent defense really.

Valk shields are what you want as your shield 9 times out of 10, with appropriate racial card in it - nontrans wearable too! (unless of course you're a shield boom sader and so need cross shield).

Depending on where you're leveling you may need elemental-carded armor.

The bargain priced footgear is Vidar Boots (for non-trans, are second only to superiors for hp/sp), otherwise it's +9 supers, or less-than-+9 green/fledged footgear. Of course as trans, it's variants, hands down.

Racial valk shield & +9 deviant backpack = anyone can tank super well. RG just have the benefit of hihg HP and auto-guard on top of that.
