For many players, myself included, were either not around during the times of KvM badges being in the "lucky" boxes, OR cannot seem to catch a seal to save our life. No one does KvM on ygg, ymir I hear differently, and valk, I have no clue... We need some type of a system to gain KvM badges much easier then they are to gain now. Not easier so to say but to help out those who currently cannot obtain the equips they need.

Suggestions:
More KvM badges in lucky boxes(no one wants the lame prize medals)
Remove the 5minute cooldown timer from doing KvM
Offer an incentive to gain more badges if you participate during a certain time of day or day of the week.
Give us a week long event every few months and triple the gain of badges(also remove cooldown timer???)

New players also have a very hard time gaining the proper weapon(s) they need for woe. How can they keep up with the times if its so hard to gain what they need the most for events such as woe? Or want to Pvp with a proper weapon.

The badges being added to the seal quests was a great idea, good thinking Gravity. However, it just is not enough. Not everyone has the option, or will to stay online and wait for it to happen, or have a friend call/text them when the seals are rolling.

At least consider adding some new way, temporary or not for players to gain more KvM badges. Or just lower the cost to buy a weapon, lol.

You can also get a few KVM badges by turning in Eden Merit Badges: http://irowiki.org/w...den_Merit_Badge

Yeah, I used the TI trade to get most of my KVM badges, and I worked hard for them.
It's one of the few things that you have to earn and not have it just given to you; it ain't like getting to lvl 99 from a novice nowadays... it's like back in the old days where you have to grind for it.

"New players have a hard time getting them", that kinda make me giggle since RO would have to HAVE NEW players for this line to be true /heh

With the lowering of the cost to get the good stuff, sure~ BUT!! I want the difference in the KVM points cost returned to me if that's implemented. 'Cuz why should all of us have to pay 2k KVM pts for a powerful weapon when the "new players" just have to pay... 400 KVM pts? I want my 1600 KVM pts returned! And I want Megs to be a purchasable item for 1k KVM pts!

Yes of course you can turn in Eden badges for kvm, and there has even been an event offered by merry badger in the past as well.

I'm not saying that KvM weapons shouldn't be "hard" to achieve, just offer a KvM event. I guess I could have elaborated and stuck more to the topic of sparking more of an interest in doing KvM rather then just gaining the badges by lucky box or eden, even though its a good thing to give the community a boost from time to time.

Lemon, as far as you saying ro would have to have new members, just look around you. Don't only stick to those in your guild or your direct circle of people and you will see that new guilds forum and fill up with "newbies" that have recently joined. YOU choose to not see the new players. There out there, just arnt very many joining that often.

Seal quests anyone? Seal 1 gives 80 kvm badges. Seal 2-4 each give 40 kvm badges. And you get exp or items from the quests as well.

A double event would be awesome, although I always preferred Tierra to Flav or KVM. Maybe you do one for "vouchers" then turn in for badges of your choice?

LOL just imagine how back before the badges were in box's and seals gave none people wanted them, they WORKED for them im sure if you want get 5 people with alts and run KVM it is very easy and even just a few hours a night a few times a week you get there. And about the new people thats whats wrong with the game why should they be able to obtain top end game gear so soon and easy?

I think it's okay how it is, it should be a goal that is very hard to obtain. For me, when aafter like a month or so of working towards it and finally getting s KvM weapon would have such an swesome feeling

That's an awesome idea! Also, adding 1 day a week for double points, or even an event from time to time might just strike back some interest.
