I have been looking some of these up during the down time and I have come across some things that strike me as SERIOUSLY wrong with the WarLock items.


1. - 4 different sets with 4 items each. NOT able to choose which specific Item you want, only which Equip Type (Staff, Armor, Garment etc).

2. - Sets seem pretty bad considering we lose the use of Shield because they are ALL 2 Handed Staffs.

3. - Why are the Armors reducing VarCast of Wiz Skills (SG, MS, LoV and HD) and NOT WarLock spells (CL, ES, FM/JF and CR)?! This just seems pretty unhelpful for a WARLOCK. If Wizards could use them then maybe they would be worth it.

4. - 120 Int Bonus is a JOKE. Int +1 is all.

5. - Why no Slots in anything but weapon and Accessory?!
* According to other Shoes have a slot but I cannot confirm.

6. - "Empower"ing the staffs seem quite stupid and confusing. First you have to get appropriate enchants, then upgrade it to +7 to get teh Empowered version. Weapon seems to lose Card slots, not sure what happens to cards you had init. Also not sure if it keeps the upgrades or resets to 0.

Is it just me or does it seem that they are really trying to punish WL's? Sets have quite serious disadvantages and still seem to suck. Also makes ppl spend like 4-8x the number of Mora coins Compared to Ranger, GX and RK.


Please lmk what you think.

*Edit - Not really sure why only 3-1 classes got things and not 3-2. This just kind of confused the hell out of me. No Love for my RG, Sura (soon tobe) or Sorc it seems.

Shoes also have a slot. Only armor do not have a slot.

The sets are not so useful but the individual pieces are. Carefree Aqua Orbs, for example. I'll let you figure out why. Also none of the warlock skills have any major cast time which is too high, but wizard skills do. Also, Storm gust is more useful than almost any warlock skill.

Well the Warlock set seems to be geared more towards PvM leveling abilities of Warlocks than anything else. The only set that seems like it could have a real PvP advantage is the Golden set as it increases the damage of Chain Lightning by a lot. The set has no HP increasing value unless you put an HP increasing Card into the Shoes.

Try getting the dang AB set. There's only two (Affection/Judgment) but I get Judgment about 90% of the time. I've gotten Affection wand twice and they both broke on the first attempt at enchanting.

While I agree that Wiz skills take longer to cast the problem is that this is a lvl 100 gear. Storm Gust works because it's a sustained AoE that can Freeze. LoV on the other hand kind of sucks compared to CL. Meteor Storm is to random. HD no match to EStrain.

* Give them a lvl 60 req and they might be good.

Slotted Accessory abilities seem to be good but really not any of the other parts of the set.

Armors should just be Elemental and get rid of the lowering effect the sets have on opposite elements Offense.
For Example Aqua Robe/set should give you Water Prop 1 and NOT lower your Wind Damage as this is the basic combo. Freeze then CL but now your CL will be weak in this case. Oh unless you switch up the gear.

The no HP or Defense/ Damage Reduction is a HUGE negative for these sets though.
