Don't know if anyone else has this problem but as a geneticist the bioethics quest chain is not available from the npc. Its probably a minor problem since no alchemist would wait until 3rd job to get a homunculus but just want to point this out, if it is an issue at all.

Unless you're supposed to spam Kellasus 'till he says something else other than he feels insulted, the quest is actually broken. I couldn't get it started on a biochem and just tested with a Lv72 alchemist, nothing.

The NPC states pretty clearly in big red text when you start the Genetic job change quest that you will not be able to perform the alchemist quest skills after changing. Well, maybe it wasn't 100% clear, but he did warn you.

Thanks Doddler. I do remember reading it, but it was one of things that just flew over my head and quickly forgot about it. Guess I'll remake my alchemist a 3rd time.

I got the same problem. Tried it on an alchemist, nothing.

Likewise, tried it on an alchemist and it is bugged.. Can't get the NPC to continue the chain, and transed to Biochem, same problem. Funny, I DID see a biochem with a homunculus though...

That was from when it takes a day to get to 99 and another day to get to 99 trans. There was a list of NPCs across from the Kafra and the little girl will give you your quest skills once you trans'd. Since those NPCs are long gone there's no way to get any of the quest skills now.

...This actually goes for all classes' job quests. I remember my friend telling me how he can't get Energy Coat and I couldn't get knight's Charge quest chain to continue on my knight.

The bioethics quest chain was also working fine at that point and started to not work once the leveling Valkyrie was put in.

This will happen now too, if your cast time is longer than your swing delay. The animation finishes in a time based on your attack speed, while your cast bar is determined by dex etc.
