Game Arena - Crystal Defenders
  • Set Crystal Defender zones to only allow for Honor and Crafted HP/MP Potion use allowed.
  • Players will not longer be added to an active Crystal Defenders match after 1 Crystal is destroyed.
  • Improved the area around the Crystals to limit the jumping of the camera.
  • Minor adjustment to damage and healing thresholds in all Crystal Defenders brackets.
  • Reduced minimum team members needed to start a game (Min-Max):
  • 100-140: 8-10 Players Per Team
  • 141-180: 8-10 Players Per Team
  • 181-200: 12-15 Players Per Team
  • 201-220: 12-15 Players Per Team
Crafted Items
  • Crafters have figured out how to be able to provide a bonus to PVM, without incurring a penalty for to PVP on Armors and Weapons!
Valor Shop & Items with PvM Bonuses
  • These NPC's now sell Weapons & Armors in Junon Polis in exchange for valor Points
  • [Valor Weapons] Jason
  • [Valor Weapons] Fergson
  • [Valor Armors] Carson
Refine System
  • The static bonuses gained from refining have been altered and scaled back. Once a refine reaches [5], the maximum attack power that will be granted through refining will be 10.
    • Percentage bonuses were not altered.
  • Success chances have been reduced slightly, in consideration to the change of no more item breaking on failure.
  • Items will no longer Break or Degrade by 2 during refining.
  • The following is the new scale for Success/Fail on refines.

Player Progression Update
  • New Quests are added to El Verloon, Anima Lake, and Junon Polis
  • Players can now finish the progression quests starting in Adventure Plains and find their way to Junon Polis.
  • Monsters on El Verloon, Anima Lake, and outside of Junon Polis have received new level ranges to follow along with the new Quests.
  • Cornell no longer offers Skill/Stat Reset
  • Darren in Junon now offers Skill/Stat Reset for players once they hit Level 50

Bug Fixes
  • Summons no longer contribute to summoner inflicted healing total in gamearena
  • Fixed a client crash that occurred occasionally when targeting castle gear and carts
  • Fixed Critical Hit and Dodge not including the base value from equipment in total value
  • Fixed Critical Hit flag, hit stun flag, immune flag, block flag from not being applied correctly to damage.
  • Corrected various minor bugs that prevented certain quests from progressing and triggering smoothly.
  • Quest Alarms were updated for a number of NPC's to correctly show when a quest is available or in progress.
  • Corrected an issue where Darren displayed an alarm for the Thanksgiving quests all year round.
  • Brown Cadet Costume is no longer restricted.

On the 10th we were told the friends list would be back online in ROUGHLY 2 weeks (which was today's maintenance) I am sad that I don't see it in the patch notes, oh well maybe next patch? <3

Dodge/Accuracy was a bug, so its the way it was prior to patch 400 (but include the % changes that came with 400 in your values).
Critical wasn't as noticeable, but it wasn't calculated fully previously.

Grade 9 equipment is out?


No, the chart is to only show for what is possible, and Grade 9 is possible in the future.

Any comment on the the status of the friends list Cal? Did something go wrong or did you guys just not have the time to get around to it? Also is there a new ETA for it now?

The people with shops full of that purple cata.. I think it was CU? Are going to be rich off of the amount of HGs they're getting.

(The prices gonna drop down to 200k anyways though.)

P.S: You know me, Calanor, I don't read any of your posts completely. Whats going to happen to plutorunes?

seriously.... ur aim is to make 100% players with +15 set with this new update on refine? then "indirectly force" them to get item mall costume after they gotten their +15 set?

Still sucks as expected. Never fix the spawn kill problem, we still need to wait for cleric to buff. Queue system nothing improve so long queue expected again. Crafted HP/MP? You should add in goulash.. FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!

No, the drops aren't going to be easier because of the change.

On the 10th we were told the friends list would be back online in ROUGHLY 2 weeks (which was today's maintenance) I am sad that I don't see it in the patch notes, oh well maybe next patch? <3


The schedule is delayed, mainly due to work needed on some of the bugs since the v400 Patch.
I am not sure how far along they were with the Friends List to get you an eta atm.

Both questions I asked were separate. T_T I was asking what drops HG.. Like the things that used to drop the other stuff..

and then I meant that..would everything generally make it easier to refine..

The refine changes are pathetic.

I miss the old days when failing at 6 would break your item. I miss having heart attacks while watching the bar slowly processing the (7)-(8) refine.

Everyone can now just spam that freaking button until the item is 15...What has this game come to...

I guess I'll be sitting by Crune, and watching people go mad for failing over and over.

Also:

Does this mean if my item at (5) has 90 ap, at (15) will have 100, or will it gain 10 ap max PER refine?

I have doubt if you are interested in gaming or just work because you need a job.

Spawn kill is not kill or be killed PVP, it's just to piss off those people who dead and can't properly prepare to fight then die again.

And this might also caused point system abuse if you keep killing someone when he just re-spawn. End up one team got max point another team just leave because they know it's impossible to fight back anymore.

When I'm doing spawn kill in arena, I will tell them "don't cry here, go cry to Calanor because he said this is PVP"
