I just downloaded the game and decided to play the swordman class when saw how cool rune knight looked. Now my question is, what stats build should I go for to get to 99 asap?
Moreover, I'm just starting up, have no money, no friends what so ever. Is leveling a knight a wise decision?

and two more questions , I saw there is this eden group which provide leveling quests, is it a reliable option to level up with? and what about mercenaries?

My info: I've played the game back in 2003-2004, my main was a knight, so im not a total newbie. But I haven't played since. so much have changed

If you just got back into the game. Play, have fun, explore. Fast leveling usually requires some money to invest. Although Eden group quests have made the game significantly easier.

My vote for fastest solo leveling to 99 the FIRST time in order to rebirth would be agility/critical build.
I recently reached 99 with these base stats:
str-51
agi-91
dex-51
luck-51
and the last few levels I pumped vit to around 30.
Keeping doing your eden quests and use their weapons if you don't have enough zeny. They're surprisingly decent.
Once you transcend, however, I recommend asking around to see which build you should aim for. I'm going spear/dragon's breath. I think the more popular builds right now are ignition break or max attack speed with auto spell casting equipment for Rune Knights. Almost forgot, the equipment set for Rune Knights adds 50% to our hundred spears skill. I'm pretty sure that's viable for a 1 vs 1 build (that's why I'm adding dragon's breath for the AoE). I have no experience with runes though, sorry about that. I hope this helps.

Feel free to correct me if my info is incorrect or misleading, I'm still sort of new with my knight.

Thanks Brenson for the tip, the luck points did wonders.
I'm a rune knight now.. I wanna know what skill order I should go for first.. considering how slow it is to up my job level now..
I'm thinking about the dragonbreash + hundred spear build.. so should I go dragon breath first or hundred spear first?
My base stat build at level 100
Str 18
Vit 81
Int 80
Dex 80
with hunting spear and eden armor, boots and manteau.
I have about 20m to 40m to spend on the appropriate equipments.

Edit: One more thing ^^ is mora coins something I should be getting now?? Haven't quite been to new world except for job change, donno much about it..

Your current build looks more dragon breath oriented to me than hundred spears due to your high VIT/INT and low STR. You will need high STR to get more damage out of hundred spears.

Getting dragon breath early on is not recommended as you won't be doing very good damage until at least level 120-130.

Best thing to do for now in my opinion would be to do the turn ins and act as tank / mobber with your high VIT. Leave the killing / doing damage to the rangers / warlocks / whoever.

Mora coins are very important, but you will need a high level friend to help you with the hazy maze, as the monsters in there are pretty high level.

Knights are the most Versatile characters after Renewal in my Opinion. The fastest way to 99 as "Knight" is going for Max AGI/ASPD.

To lvl 99 Knight - STR 60-70, AGI 99, DEX 50-55, INT 1, VIT 1, LUK 1. You wont be MvP'ing or PVP as a Knight so you don't need VIT or INT to spam skills and tank.

After you transcend into High Novice>High Swordsman> Lord Knight you need to Pump Vit and Int.

There are 3 main LK Builds

CS (Clashing Spiral) Build - You will need the heaviest spear for Max attack. (Cardo [1])

ASPD/Frenzy LK - Not advisable for RK or LK you dont have much HP Flee gets eaten by mobs.

CRIT LK - Gx is the way to go if you want to crit.

I say go for CS Build 60 STR - 100 VIT - 60 DEX - 40 - INT40 - LUK 1

CS Because ultimately you will go for Hundred Spears Build as RK.

Once your RK go for Ur's set to Improve HS Damage and Level DB after HS because DB got nerfed after renewal.
