hi guys
this is the first time im playing this game and the first thing that I encountered is this error
after patching it.I already updated my video card driver (296.10) to my video card

What Windows version is it? Can you try to update directx to latest version also?

Im using windows xp 5.1 build 2600 and I have already updated my directx 9.0c to jun 2010(or what directx end-user runtime told me). I have used the "check all" button on the settings for patches and clicked the defragment button and after I hit the start in the patch, there's still that error.

got it working!
it turns out that there was something wrong with the nvidia driver installation so I made a clean reinstallation
