Right now I'm debating putting in the effort to get Self-Destruction on my Vanilmirth. I heard the argument of how it can be used a lot on Eira by farming loyalty, but I'm not really seeing situations where it would be worth it to use.

So, what are the pros and cons of going for this skill? The only major con that I'm seeing is the time involved in getting it - 150 to 177 hours depending on how often I feed my Homunculus. I don't foresee myself using this skill much if at all in WoE, so are there any other reasons why I should put the time in to get it?

If it's an eira, you should get it. It's a rather nasty skill, and I think it ignores all reductions. It's like a mini suicidal destruction.

hey sorry for stealing the topic but it's really relevant to my question as well

how about suicide for vani? i need to get it loyal to get it but its gonna take AWHILE and i don't think i'll ever use it since it reduces intimacy to 1 again.

anyone? i kinda wanna just get this vani to homunculus S.

If you're making any homun S other than an eira, don't bother with it, you'll hardly ever get to use it because it takes 4000 minutes (67 hours) to get the loyalty back to do another vanibomb.

Of course, if you're going eira, you can get the loyalty back in a few minutes spamming Boost and the feed button, and in that case, you should totally get it, so you can spam vanibomb in woe/pvp.
