The quest is in the same place where the swordman test is done. The same NPC's from the swordman test are in the area, and the Master and Mae overlap each other.

When waiting in the "Drawing Room" chat room, he warps you to a place but warps you on the portal, most the time sending you past the point where you need to be, ie. the "living room". It's possible to bypass the survival portion at the moment by just running through the warp portal without even having to go into the "Drawing Room" and getting to Mae like you would if you were doing the swordman test. Bruno and Master appear in the same room as Mae, but Mae and Master are on top of each other.
