I did a skill reset on my 211 mage (after finally getting a Shattered Hope unique ). I did a stat reset and I feel like those are good. What I really need is help with my skills.

I created a new post in the Muse section of the forums but its been about a week now and no one has responded. I am anxious to get going with my new weapon so I am hoping someone will respond if I post in here, the most active forum.

I mostly PVM but I might try PVP if my character is any good and you convince me to do so.

Anyway, I have full Chiv gear and the SH. No jewelery and as stated above no skills after the free reset.

Could someone either post what skills I should add (both as a PVM and a PVP mage) or direct me to a recent post related to mage skills.?

Stuns and highest Attack power skills,

Run either a P7 set for atk spd
or mix up with some T7's

Dont forget your gonna need a fair amount of def if your going PvP

As for PvM its a slight bit different depending on if you wanna aoe mobs or go skill crazy.

Check here to see what skills give the highest ap at there maximum level and there effects:

Thanks! I guess the first and most general question I have to answer is Ice or Fire mage? I can't even get beyond that lol.

Also, regardless of whether I go Ice or Fire, should I get the spin skills?

yes get the spin skills... and if you do PVP fire skills are much effective because they are reliable magic attack.. also get stuns~

Well, if you choose the ICE Mage you might want to choose the Offensive stats on the left side of your skill sheet which includes all ICE type skills. You also want to click the aoe's that are in the middle like tornado, Hurricane, Wind Storm etc. if you need help setting up yours skills you can visit my mage guide under my website Game Guide section. Mute and Debuff

As simple as that.. other skills,just plain damage and stuffs.. The latter is what makes you unique that's why its so-called.
