Pretty sure everyone in IAH don't even want to play this game anymore after seeing their $2000+ accounts being eradicated.

$2000 is nothing. Their money wasn't guaranteed to last. Even money stored in the bank will be lose or gain worth. Nothing's stable, much less a game economy.
Besides, say you went and bought yourself a new computer with that money. Your computer catches a virus or breaks, or becomes hideously outdated as time goes on. You buy a new one and that money has been spent and cannot be regained. That's how money works. Why would anyone expect anything different when paying for virtual property owned by a real-life company that may or may not shut down?
I can almost guarantee that some IAH players, even those who spent a lot on IAH will be coming to DS despite many other viable options.

but will they STAY? the main question isnt really about whether they will switch or not but the retention factor...at least thts wat i think

Doesn't surprise me either. They weren't able to have Ragnarok content since Nexon runs Japan's server. While we have Gravity and have access to content they do not, we strikingly still have nothing to do. Figure that.

This makes me sad. I absolutely love the spirit of this game. I would be really sad if it were gone. I fail to understand how a game like Maplestory can still be running when it is just so awful and uninspired compared to other action RPG platformers.

and................ i was an old player from THQice who moved to IAH during Paris Invasion and then stayed there until the recent closure (May, 2012) and then came back here to play again until now~~

but, now that there will be another Dragonica SEA (renamed Dragon Saga SEA), i may go back there with some old players..... idk tho... ive spent hundreds of dollars since i came back here..., such a waste =3=

but, im still glad the game wont be gone.. even with the recent closure of Dragonica SEA and soon to be closed Japan Dragonica (p/s: there might be a Dragon Saga Japan .... who knows ^.~)
