Dear GM Team,

today I open an non demanding and non relicious topic to get the GM attention about an big big issue!

aRO (Africa Ragnarok Online) announced that they will shut down all servers and offer an transfere to fRO (or called new euRO now).
However, I know ALOT (We talk bout 200-300 former euRO Player!!!) people that will rather quit Official RO and play ,,somewhere" else before they would ever transfere to fRO.

Is there ANY Chance that those accounts could get transfered to iRO?
Since I know them and I know that they are willing to spend lot on $Shop, I would suggest to make it possible <3

--------------------------------

On another hand, is Oda marriageable? I saw him on a Movie together with Heim and I must say ODA is SUPER HOT!

oh that's sad news.

Indeed, although it was obiously when we take a look at the Online Count overall.

When euRO closed, most of the old player joined aRO (Cause they wanted PRE-Renewal!!) and wont ever join fRO due to the fact that even a manager team full of pregenant brainless monkey could host and admin the server better then they can - no offense.

They all think that iRO is THE BEST SERVER out there now and would love to join and spend all their CASH here.
However, they already let me know that most of them (They even play in an ally!) wont start new here from 0.

I don't know if aRO has made any efforts to contact us, though I am not sure that they would set up post-close relationship with more than one RO version. I am sorry to hear the news.

Oda, aRO didnt event care to contact their own customers. It was euRO's hoster Gravity Europe (?) that mailed the Customers of aRO (God knows how they got the email adress...) and offered them an 25€ (about 35$) trasnfere option to their server cause aRO is closing. aRO later confirmed this, cause people asked if this is fraut/ fishing/ whatever.

Thats reason enough to call the international Ragnarok Online Military Strike & Rescue Force to enter the aRO Data Center and get the Information of their citizienships back!!! Save the data and while you are on it, marry me and transfere all the players to beloved iRO <3

You must be joking, fRO have a top of almost 3000 players in WoE! you barelly see a bot around and you never have any lag like iRO, all gms in fRO show how many players they ban every day and show all the works they are paid to do, have events every single day and dont force you to spend money with kp every week

but the biggest advantage is pre-renewal server instead of -_- renewal full of bugs

I see nothing concerning a shut down for aRO. I'm reviewing the English version of the Tahadi Games website -- the analog to our Gravity Interactive, INC. -- and it has patch notes as recent as May 02.

http://ro.tahadi.com...cenotes02052012

EDIT:
And even if it it did go down, I don't know if aRO players would even enjoy playing on another server. Case in point: there's a very good reason that the Kafra Shop was renamed Kabra shop. Kafra is phonetically similar to كافرا -- 'Infidel'. Kabra on the other hand -- كابرا -- is either a nonsensical term or a name. I'm not up to date enough to really determine which. I don't quite think the player base would appreciate that too much; the aRO server has been specifically localized to the Arab world. The amenities provided on there would be hardpressed to appear here.

All players are welcome on iRO! Download the client, setup a character, and start fresh with a whole new server <3 No sarcasm intended, but iRO is quite inviting to new players and we can try to help make it a new home for anyone coming from another server :)

That would be Arabic Ragnarok Online.

Oh Kafir. lolol

Hey if we rename our kafras Kabra... I honestly would not care heh. Feel free, or even just for the language pack could leave the translatios the same, gameplay vs text translations aren't interlinked so eh.

BTW. Care to provide a link? There is certainly nothing on Tahadi forums about it, not to mention their staff today just announced having a no drop penalty event.

No, I would not want anything from aRO on iRO. Its Sad that it's closing, but I don't want the problems on that server tacked onto iRO.

The amount of players botting have ruined that server quite a bit, as a good majority of them get away scot-free. Say no to aRO-iRO merge.

@Rafa07

Why dont you explain to us the way your GM's work, that they dont know a -_- about their own Server Software, that the Server or parts of it are dieing almost daily and it takes them hours of not days (especially on weekends!) to fix it or even take them back up. They havent patched anything for years and aren't even allowed for RWC anymore due to their lack of updates and renewal.

By the way, EVERYTHING they bring in as events IS CASH BASED!! Ambernite Game? Cat Fish Event? Does that ring a bell to you?
Oh even Easter where you had to pay like 400 Points, which is about 6$ to buy a Chicken Headgear to be even ALLOWED to join the Easter Event(!).
Yeah sure thing bro, coming here and telling me this stuff. I have been playing on fRO and even a headless Monkey could maintain their server better!
There are reasons why the kRO Technical Team had to come flying in to Paris so -_- often lately. Let alone the fact that their payed staff doesn't know that much of their ingame stuff as well. Tested this at their ,,GM Talking" Hour.

Overall, I would rather quit and bury all my RO stuff before I would ever consider to play fRO or any game hosted and/ or maintained by Gravity Europe and/ or their Staff. However, I am fully trusting in this Server, iRO, and I believe in Heim's and Oda's as well as their whole teams ability to maintain and fix this server just as much as I believe in the Lord himself. And if you know me or have read stuff I have been written you should know that I believe in our Father, the Lord.

Let me close this post by saying that fRO is THE MOST greediest Server off them all and its in 13.2 Status since years, after it got updated when you guys came from euRO to fRO. If they would only fix their own bugs like obviously Language bugs (f.e. ,,you need -_- in order to shoot!" - the german translation that got implemented firstly but got fixed later for ,,you need ammo in order to shoot!") and make their promises true.

@Linkers
Can I link you to an email?
Unfortunately you need to be log in as a customer at fRO to see their Cash Shop and the Transfer Option (fyi, they offered an Transfer option from euRO to fRO for like 30$. You had to wait MONTHS!!!! to get your Account and even when you got it it was likely empty, bugged as hell and you prolly missed a lot of Items - let alone that they deleted all your ECT items.... | But they took your money the day you ordered the service and totaly ignored you when you were asking where your account is after like 3 month waiitng)

Yes, THAT is fRO. Gravity Europe should close their servers and merge them with IRO cause what they are doing over at europe is destroying the name gravity and the reputation of RO. There are reasons why fRO is more known as ,,FailRO" to the people at europe.
I am sure other ex-fRO players can tell you even more!

I still have a personal grudge against the fRO staff after their marketing manager came out that we were not allowed to write the name of other official RO servers on our fanarts exposed in European conventions...

I can also confirm that a good part of the unpleasant things said about fRO on this thread are true, including the server instability and the 30 EUR (>30$) fee to transfer the accounts from euRO.

Asking if you can merge one server with another comes off heavily as a suggestion, especially when thought is given to its practical application.

By the by, did you ever find the screenshots or info of where you read aRO was closing?

I've looked through the Tahidi RO forums, there is nothing there to suggest they are closing down. In fact, quite the opposite looking at their patch notes and news from a couple of days ago.

http://forum.tahadi....ead.php?t=41210

As the OP could not even get the aRO = Arabic RO thing correct, they obviously are clueless and/or have made the entire thing up. I think this is just more of the OPs usual BS.

from the forum rules of conduct.

Attempting to spread fear, uncertainty and doubt on the forums will not be tolerated. Creating false rumors and information will lead to disciplinary action.

it's just a false rumor.

Should read "Just a rumor." with out proof of its validity it can neither be considered True nor False, making it a rumor, as apposed to an un-true or true fact >...>

Your welcome to play here, im sure our community would be more then happy to have you, though as far as character transfers i think you might be out of luck >...>

Very sad to hear another Real RO server is closing down T_T

TO NEW BEGINNINGS!
