If anyone could give me some advice on what AI for my Homunculus and Merc Ai
That would be awesome.
I'm not sure what type of Nuc to run with,I really just want one that helps me level and just have fun with,i have read many post and lots of players talk about mvping and such.
I just want a lil buddy that looks cool and can put out some good dmge.
So if anyone can tell me what Ai's i should download, and if there is a link perhaps someone can post it.because when i look at all the other links for them i have no idea what so ever what AI's or AI i would need once i got my nuc going.
And if someone could suggest a idea for a nuc the kind i posted above to start with that would be so awesome for this new player Oh and i guess the merc Ai comes with some of the Ai downloads?
If not could you post a link for the Mercs as well? :D
Thank You.

What is a "nuc"? Never seen that abbreviation before, and urbandictionary doesn't shed any light on what you mean either.

Most iRO players use my AI (AzzyAI), as it's one of the only ones being updated now.

The vanilmirth is always a good homun - it's got a ranged, instant cast, single target attack skill, excellent stat growth and good hp/sp growth. Goes well with any homun S - and you only need to loyal it once unless you're making an Eira, because it's loyalty skill isn't useful for non-eiras (Eira's can farm loyalty, so they can actually use the loyalty-consuming skills)

For mercs, the lvl 10 mercs from the lucky boxes are very effective for pre-99 chars, particularly for poorly geared players. The other mercs are only useful for helping level newish chars, and using them (judging by how much feedback I've gotten regarding mercs) is not terribly popular.

The lower level mercenaries are pretty squishy. Add to the fact that healing only heals at 50% effectieness, you will be spending alot of money on the mercenary potions to keep them alive if you aren't the one tanking.

The only Mercenaries in my experiance that are of any use are the 80 mercenary and the 99 merenaries. It takes so long to gain loyalty though that the only actual time you see people use them is when level 99 merenaries are prizes from the Lucky boxes.

The level 60ish mercenaries are the highest level ones you can get without having loyalty.l And are really good to have when your rebirthing a character. But beyond that, there isn't much use for them.

The only time I have used the low level merc's is when I leveled my merchant. I would tank to save zeny on pots. But nothing to crazy. If you don't have a lot of zeny I wouldnt recommend buying one.
If you are looking for a "little buddy" to level with you should consider making an alchemist. You will be pleased when you reach Gen and get your Homunc S.

Alsooooo~
If you try to decide what homunculus S to get, which is a stone that all alchemists that are planning to be genetics struggle with turning. You'll need to look at the bonuses of each homunculus s, and each homunculus as well. Vanilmirth can fit with virtually any homunculus s. The rest are more limited. Personally, I would go vanilmirth then sera for use of mvping, as her painkiller skill can reduce physical attacks so effectively, you could take 1 damage from a mob. Of course, Sera isn't all that great with offense, like Eleanor or Dieter. So, just remember, probably there is no vanilmirth type homunculus s, who's fantastic with everything.

Low level mercenaries do have their uses - afking high merchant at ant eggs whilst levelling other chars being the primary use. Level 5/6 mercenaries do speed things up in Overlook too and help with job exp when levelling with homunculus.
