Aa I mention b4 GM don't play the game, they're justt there to collect pay check. They will only do or will not do something totally at all even if u open a ticket.Bots that camp minibosses (or maybe even MVPs?!) is making it start to become out of hand. I would really like to get rid of those if possible. Not sure if buffing angeling/deviling/ghostring is a solution though. Miniboss Gravestones aren't really ideal unless we can specify which ones they apply to, as many monsters are boss protocol. There would have to be some way to separate the 1-spawn boss protocol types from the regular spawn ones.
From what I can tell, it shouldn't be too hard to spot the low level ones farming supplies like poison spore, immortal heart, ygg seeds. I'm not sure why the GMs aren't a bit more proactive in taking care of those, since they really just use those few maps where they drop (geffen dungeon 1, mjolnir field 6, pyramids B1F / 3F, etc.). You can pretty much log into those maps once a day and ban the whole bot farm. Pretty sure the botters will get sick of entering captcha codes all the time for making accounts (unless they're bypassing that too?)

i loved the movie but yea we still have far more PLAYERS than on yggYmir = a ghost town (75% are vendors)
Valkyrie = Watch iRobot featuring Will Smith and you'll see the similarities. (bots completely outnumber humans)
Yggdrasil = 7/10 humans, 3/10 bots. Roughly an estimate.

Valk has the most real players of all 3 servers. I don't play Ymir nor Ygg, but it's pretty damn obvious. Sure there's a lot of bots, but people always exaggerate how many there are. Our woe's are very active and turn in maps are very active. People get parties going on all the time at turn ins and obviously none of those are bots. you can't say that ymir is free of bots either.
also, i'm looking at the number of users on right now vs. the peak in the last 7 days. there's a 600 difference between the amount of users on valk right at this moment vs. the peak in the last 7 days, whereas on ymir it's only 300. that 600 difference on valk and 300 difference on ymir are probably mostly actual players. even just comparing the number of vend shops, where valk 300 and ymir is 100 shops. sure some of those venders on valk are venders of botters, but i'm pretty certain most are legit players.
tl dr: valk has the most actual players of all 3 servers, ymir has a higher fraction of real players but has less real players overall

Oh gosh... I was away from RO for long long time (valk opening). And I decided to try it again. So I went into my swordie in Valk and picked up Alligator quest to lvl up a bit. After travelling to Alligator map I saw dozens of rogues and sins botting..... I was so upset.... I closed the client and cried =(.
Nostalgia is usless nowadays.... It would be a titanic task to report all of them sigh....
Population topic got me here, any advice for a server for a old school RO player?
