MVP Alert... I know it's like 3 pages ago but seriously? That's technically a third party program that people should be banned for since it's automating wings/logouts for MVPs ~__~; I Swear people nowadays are so lazy or paranoid that they have to resort to a program to yell at them...

MVP Alert... I know it's like 3 pages ago but seriously? That's technically a third party program that people should be banned for since it's automating wings/logouts for MVPs.

There is no such thing. It's just Bascojiin/ChrisWintermoon speaking crap as per normal. Automated log out on detection of what ever mob ID you add to the list is a function of AzzyAi, and is totally legal.

There would no point in someone coming up with the mythical MVP Alert app. If people are actually botting while AFK, again it would be totally redundant as that function also exists in that particular program (which I wont mention the name of)

Nope you would be completely wrong there, it auto closes the game client - thus logging both player and homunc out of the game.

Amazed more people don't actually know how to use AzzyAi correctly when I see people getting killed by asshats that BB then lead it all over the dungeon to kill all the A-_- trying to level their homuncs.

Ant hell is litterally covered in ant eggs these days, like theres some on almost every screen of the dungeon. Also as far as afkchemists moving out of there goes, I still had issues in OD2 at level 80, ended up bringing my GX down to tank for alchemist/homuc.

(which also resulted in some cheapskate trying to poly mobs on me, and got she horribly upset when i came back every 20 mins or so to kill the random junk i was tanking lol)

Hmm... Very Informative, THANKS! I thought it just vaporized the homunc if it saw a mob that it was supposed to ignore/run away from. Guess I learned something new today

Also Poly needs to be disabled on certain maps, including TI maps. Gotta love them trolls :\

I think ts funny that someone afking would use a program like that, third party programs is rather illegal an I think that the GM's should take a close look at ALL afk players using homu, or mercs to lvl very closely to see who is doing this because I remember when people got banned for using RCX, which as everyone know does nothing but give BB lined and buff timers and info about monsters your fighting... Nothing that logs you out when your on danger, or tele you away from monsters....

As for the original poster, alchimests, bio-chems, an gems need those maps as well... Homunculus don't have the same flee calculators as regular characters, as well as HP. So we/they need to work on an excessively low level map and level at a pace relatively the same as going from 98-99 trans pre-renewal... Were you right in BB'ing her, no, was she right in what you said her response was, perhaps, she did offer an alternative for you which could prove to be a better experience gain for you especially since there other monsters which could help you gain more exp....

Also since the rules of kill stealing are very straight forward, if you are adamant on leveling in ant hell all you have to do is NOT use your AOE skills and you don't need to be concearned about getting in trouble for it. Just make sure you target eggs that ARE NOT being attacked by the homunculus... But this comes with potential issues, if she has the ability to smoke any MVP that can spawn solo then she could BB and then kill it after it had killed you, and she could get away with it because she Delt with the BB on her own....

My best advice is use doddlers site and find a safe alternate to leveling at your level, or perhaps find some friends/new friends to level with so you can tackle more impressive exp gains then any hell

Good luck. When using RCX / anything else you can't tell the difference of owner logs out / disconnects / OR THE AI CALLING (OS.Exit) WHEN IT SEES A MVP that is in its "crap my pants and exit" list. And the AI calling os.exit is a valid tact since kRO intentionally implemented it.

And as far as I know the only people that may have gotten banned for RCX usage are the complete morons who had been using the autbuff / autofollow portions that are the botlike additions that you would have to be retarded to use.

3rd party programs and client enhancements are not allowed. If someone is 'AFK leveling' they have to be there to feed it unless they are using illegal programs.

This entire thread has been done before. In short, what people consider AFK leveling is not against the rules, intentionally trying to hinder other people's leveling by BB/DBing them is.[/mod]
