Better idea, require a gear to be equipped and another to be in inventory when upgrading. If the upgrade succeeds, the equipped gear is upgraded and the one in inventory stays the same.

If the upgrade fails, there's a 50% chance of eating a matching piece of gear from your inventory.

Stop injecting certs and let gear break. =/

To keep Certs useful, if a Cert is also used the chance of breaking on failure goes down to 10%. In the end, gear NEEDS TO BREAK SOMEHOW.

y do u wanna give valk campers EMB so they can get free token of sieg........
atleast mimic causes useless gears to disappear......n contolled injection of certs.....not throw cash buy sh!t load of cert.......

i know u have inventory full of valk mant ralis......mimic is the answer

My inventory is too full of other stuff to have room for Valk Mants. I have at most 3 or 4 of them. Campers shouldn't matter, the respawn time is like eight hours... You can get them through BBs or in Endless Tower as well. Gear needs to break, period.

It's not necessary, just put a linear progression formula in slaughter bonuses effect. They've done it with one-handed swords/dagger.

Make all the MVPs equally hard then.

When I see you able to tank a valk on an AB, I'll know you deserve the same drops that I can get.
When Dark lord can wipe a party of 12 people with god items on, then DL deserves drops equal to valk/ifrit/beez.
The point is, get better, kill better things. If people can kill better things than you, they deserve better drops. Don't be jelly.

I don't think Dark Lord and Valk should have the same quality drops. I'd say Valk is the hardest MVP in game atm, while dark lord is one of the easier MVPs.

Anyway, I vote that the GMs update this thread either before maint or when it starts. My anticipation cannot hold until an hour+ after maintenance has started.. >_>
I think this maintenance is going to decide whether I pick up D3 tonight or not. lol
