Been playing for a week, wanting to job change to alchemist but having the worst time finding alcohol, detrimindexta and karvodailnirol etc so i can proceed...

any hints would be legit

Buy them from another player. Alcohol can be made by alchemists (also drops from a wide variety of monsters, at low rates) from stems/spores and by genetics from orc vouchers and skelbones.

Detri/Karvo are uncommon drops from a wide variety of monsters. See db.irowiki.org for the full list.

Run around pront/eden group asking to buy them, honestly. I think that's the best chance of getting them in a timely manner.

You can also farm red and black mushrooms - I think they've got the highest drop rate of anything you can kill. There's a map southwest of pront (i think 1 south 2 west?) with a spot on the map where lots of mushrooms spawn.
