I am new here, well I am in Valkyrie server and wondering to be a Gunslinger or a Taekwon Girl, if so where do you go to get your job changed?

Gunslinger changes in Einbroch, after you come off the airship, it's the portal in the side of the building right across the bridge.

Taekwon Girl changes in Payon at the NPC named Phoenix up by the kafra shop NPCs.

I do not recommend gunsligner to you.

After I do finish the battle monsters quest on base level 8, what do I do? They told me to become a merchant and I did not want it and chose another job, there was no taekwon girl/boy.

Just don't become a merchant and go to Payon and talk to Phoenix.

That test is just a guideline / something that can help you. You can do whatever you want.
The Taekwon / Gunslinger / Ninja classes were implemented after it was written.

Tool Shop is on the left when you step through the south gate. There's also an NPC in front of the tents right when you enter that sells potions, too.

If you run another novice through the training grounds until it gets to job level 7, you can put those Novice Potions in storage and then take them out and use them on your main character.

You can get to job level 7 simply by talking to all of the NPCs in the training grounds.

- talk to the first girl you see twice
- Talk to the knight guy
- Talk to the guy on his left
- Talk to the girl to the right (not the maid) and if you read her dialogue, she asks you to drink a potion and equip some sandels, do that when she says.
- Talk to the kafra (the maid) and ask her about Save and about Storage
- Talk to the man in the far left of the building.
- Go to the hunting grounds, die once and then go back outside.
- Now die a second time, come back inside the training grounds and make sure you are level 9/7.
- Allocate all your basic skills and then find the kafra and have her teleport you to any town you like.
- Talk to a kafra in this town, and put your potions in storage.
- Log on your main character and take them out of storage.

It's a useful way for new players to get a bit ahead.
