well uhh ya ive been talking to alot of ygg ppl there just going to quite a small hand full will go to valk and an even small few will go to yimr and u can get a good idea since there has already been a tread that has been locked all i wont to know is y and will i get a refund since i just transfered a char to ygg server this week and will ur storge go with u or whats just ur char and all i have to say this is bull i left the server becouse how over poplutaed valk server is and i know no one on yimr and the other thing i wont to know is if the GM'S r going to get ready of all the bots and zeny spamers or at lest do somthing to clean up those servers

not cool. while i don't mind having a pre-renewal server i do mind being homeless. and i'd rather be homeless than join ygg or valk.

Well I mained sinx for what? 6 years pre-re... I never turned him third. That's how much I miss being my op sinx self.

We are not planning to have any transfers on the pre-renewal server, the idea is to have everyone start there fresh and not have people bringing in high level characters and gear to leap-frog the starting over process.

Will the new server have pre-renewal mechanics? Like the Peco Peco Turn-Ins and stuff? Or will it be just like Renewal, but with no 3rd classes?

On a serious note, I really do feel bad for people on Ygg. I would be absolutely furious if I heard I was going to be forced to move to another server because they were changing it to a pre-renewal server. I would seriously quit.

no seriously, since i've been playing for not so long... actually I don't find any so much difference between valk and ygg.. what's the matter.. .why is there a war against both server? personnaly that is just fine with me.. since I found good player and fun player in both of them... but yeah I can understand some people that it is so sudden.. but.. why?

in fact i'll be happy to start other characters at the same level than anyone else... won't be the strongest since I have lot more to learn but then the economy will not plot me to the ground and finally i'll be able to do something with stuff and all...

What's different is they get to choose if and which server they're moving to.

Honestly, and sadly, you guys cant do much against the GM's choice to change, since in the user's agreement says they can do this whenever they feel like.
Is it fair? Not really, i'd have loved more the idea of making a 4th server or asked the game base first, but well, on the bright side, this is gonna make iRO fun again

Absolutely ridiculously, spent just over a year starting on a new server, building characters and meeting people, learning to really play the game, spend money, and now get a big F you thrown in our faces for no reason x_x. There is a reason the people on Ygg are on Ygg... I want a vote handsdown for active people that actually play that server actively!!!

More details about the pre-renewal server will be illuminated today. It is a "new server" and there is no way we can go from Renewal -> pre-renewal server with characters. The reverse is difficullt but the new to old is impossible.
It will not be exactly like the pre-renewal that existed just prior to renewal.

What kind of crap is this? People want Pre-renewal server in the same way they want a PVP server. They say they want it and when the thing is actually there is FAILS IN PRACTICE with 40 people logged on. A pre-renewal server will have like 200 people on it at most, for a few weeks or months, then like 50 people.

You are seriously going to displace several hundred Yggdrasil players who chose that server for either a.) small town appeal b.) not flooded with ultra-ter items like ymir c.) not bot-infested like valkyrie just so you can flipping make a server you're going to close due to lack of interest by next year? Are you kidding me? I am one of your most loyal customers, I've spent thousands of dollars on this game and have played for the better half of a decade and I don't even get to have a say in whether or not you're going to SCREW ME OVER? What is this!?

I paid a crapton of money to transfer away from Ymir because I hated it! I spent a crapton of money to stand out on ygg! And you're going to cart me back to ymir or make me a small fish in valkyrie are you fricken MENTAL!? How the heck do you see me staying a customer after this??? AND I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE HERE. WHAT THE FLIP ODA/HEIM.

We were begging you to do this 20 years ago when you released that stain called renewel. Now after all relevant guilds/alliances/players quit the game you come out with this? Zero points for the GMs ever making an intelligent move.

If you enjoy RO why would you leave? I feel bad for the people of Ygg getting kicked out but if you truly enjoy RO why would you stop playing just because you have to play another server? I've had tons of fun on Valk and made many friends. :/
