I find it extremely difficult to run a WoE guild when I'm not available for the Wednesdays WoE times. I find it extremely disturbing that me and half of my guild can't make it to WoE due to it being a time when EVERYONE is at work/school/busy.

I realize I play US central so I have a 2 hour time lap that messes with my schedule, but everyone I know is still at school or working when Wednesdays WoE starts.

What I propose is that the times be changed to the same time as Saturday nights WoEs. It's a good time for everyone cause it's early night/late afternoon for everyone in the timezone, even euro members can make it if they aren't being lazy. When I run Endless tower, we start at the same time WoE 2 starts on Saturdays (we run ET on Thurs/Fri) and everyone seems to be available, but NO one (including myself) but maybe 2 of my members can show for the Wednesdays WoE times.

Please change this or put the times to a vote so more people can participate and possibly bring up activity times during the week. I sincerely believe more people would be available (since I seriously doubt most of us WoErs are 12 year old kids who get out of school at 2pm) so we could ALL be able to play our favorite part of the game.

For your consideration,

~Ty

I concur, I miss 50-75% of Wed or Tues(when I was on valk) WoEs. I only make parts of them because my work day starts at 5am PST.

Honestly I figured this topic would have a lot more traffic considering the current times should interfere with everyone's normal schedule.

If it effects your current schedule then tamper with your schedule. Whether you wish to WoE or not is completely your choice and thus you can adjust your schedule to work with WoE times if you really want to WoE. WoE doesn't come to you. You come to WoE.

The server is based around PST, run in California. How would they not just automatically think to set the times to after people get off of work/school in their time zone? Which happens to be peak activity times for the servers?

You can't tamper with your schedule when you work hours or go to school during these times. It's not rocket science...people have obligations and the WoE times should be set to peak activity hours.

WoE also does come to you and not the other way around, they lose players and business if they run it during times few people can make it that want to. The one unique aspect of this game over any other MMO is it's separation from PvP and WoE.

They have changed WoE times several times now for whatever reasons and when they open up a vote for WoE 1 on Saturdays they shut it down cause the guilds that claim 4 castles per WoE don't want to use up more supplies to keep their castles for a full week.

Personally I would be satisfied if they added WoE 1 to the same time WoE 2 runs like it used to, most people seemed open to that idea yet it still hasn't happened.

I liked the woe 1+2 on sats.

The problem with moving weds woe is that there is a somewhat established player base that havescheduled around it already. Some of us have done it that way for years, if you take woe away from europeans after 7 years, there will be a backlash.

And the UK isn't part of fRO, we were never exported to euRO etc.

I've always though Ymir and Ygg had a pretty early start time, though it's only an hour earlier than Valk on Tuesdays... Funny how much difference an hour can make.

This request seems silly considering your the only one who seems to be posting about a change. IF you wanna WOE then adjust your schedule, otherwise realize your gonna miss WOE. I doubt a change would be made to WOE Times just for one person.

I hear daily complaints about it from several guilds and members. People can't make it because WoE times cut into their work schedule, their school schedule. The only place in the US/Canada that wednesday WoE would be after 5pm for people with Jobs and School is Eastern time. Obviously given that iROs main base is centered in California the WoE time should be set for after 5pm their time when peak playing hours would hit. Just because I'm the only one posting on the proposal part of the forums about in in awhile doesn't mean people don't agree with it.

Just because you are in another country, eastern US or at home with your parents doesn't make it a good time for everyone else. It should be people like the ones who oppose this thread that should have to adjust their lifestyles as the game is run in PST.

No.

No matter what it changes to, someone will complain. Sats are good for PST weds are better for other timezones.

It's called a compromise, I know people aren't good at that. But try to accept it.

I'm fine with a compromise. But not having WoE 1 on Saturdays is the biggest issue. It used to be like that and people loved it when the servers weren't all bogged into 3-5 main WoE guilds.

Set WoE on Saturdays as well and we can call that a compromise. Otherwise swap Saturdays Woe when Everyone can be online at whatever time to 3pm PST and Wed WoE to 7pm PST.

A lot of us still prefer WoE 1 to WoE 2 so why is it the ones who like it are obligated to settle for WoE 2 instead?

I prefer woe 1 too.

So ask for WoE 1 on sats alongside 2, seems more reasonable.

Leave woe alone on weds, because some of us have had it for years and don't really want to lose it and have nothing after setting up on the server and reaching the place we wanna be for woe.

Look at the amount of replies in this forum...this thread and every other one save for a couple where mostly its 2-3 members bantering about random stuff has very few replies. Very few people read this forum compared to the others so there's no surprise as to the fact only 4-6 people on here side with my view. And you seem to be one of 3 people who deny the times needing a change.

So yeah, "Cool Story Bro!"...trolling is for immature kids.

I'm not trolling just stating the obvious that they won't change the times just for a few people, since they are a business and they will make decisions based on where the dollars come from. Speaking hypothetically if they moved the times later than that cuts out half of the players from asia who play on IRO and if they move it earlier then we run into the situation of a different batch of players not being able to play. So its a no win situation and WOE doesn't come to you you go to it. This is a game and as such if you wanna play certain aspects you have to change your schedule not the game adjust its schedule to yours. What your asking for you may feel is totally reasonable, but it lacks key points, which i'll leave for you to figure out.

I settled on Yggdrasil because its WoE schedule was a good compromise at the time, starting right after I got off work. Unfortunately, as it stands now, I can't make the Saturday war on any server. I found it surprising they set WoE to the same time on each now. I figured they were staggered so players would have options. Now, without WoE to look forward to, I don't feel nearly as motivated to actually put much effort into leveling.

Hopefully the classic server will host a later WoE. It would make sense, both because classic WoE was much later at night and because a lot of us who played back then are older now and more likely to play in the evenings than the early afternoon.

Honestly, I'm not sure how 3-5 Pacific works for anyone in California. I figured most people would still be at school or work, summer break aside. I know my schools didn't let out until about 3:30.

How is that the entire point?
Considering most people I play with who are from that region rearranged their schedules to be able to attend WOE. If they can change their schedules, so can you if you really wanna woe you would make the necessary changes so you could change. It honestly sucks you can't woe but it happen as the times were set at the times they felt were neccessary. You fail to see if the WOE Times get changed to work according to your schedule then we have a new batch of players who would be left out. How is that fair to them?
