The news of IRO opening a pre-renewal server is spreading like wild fire through all the RO communities. I noticed that some people like the idea of a permanently trans free server.
So I ask the iRO community, what do you all think?

I'm personally fine either way.

A few implications of such a server
-No need for boosted xp.
-More resources can be allocated for customization.
-The best WoE and PvP balance the game ever had.
-other things I'm too lazy to type...
-Kafra gears that give small ups in stats become really useful (no need for OP game breaking BS to make money)

I know we will be starting out tran-free and their additon will be many months away, but if there was an option to stay that way would the community go for it and why or why not?

From what I understand they will be starting at the beginning of RO and adding in the various episodes and such every few weeks? Dunno for sure, though.

I think the trans classes brought a lot of fun gameplay into RO, so I definitely want trans classes implemented on the pre-renewal server.

Of course I also like the idea of the server being only non-trans for a while, perhaps 6 months or so. That way we can experience the original RO experience before everything gets crazy with the trans classes.

The biggest problem that would occur if trans classes are forever disabled on the server is that it would make basically a third of the content in the game nearly impossible or not even accessible(like TT). Which would give us even less content than the content up to episode 13.2.

While trans classes had problems such as acid bomb, EDP and ridiculously fast zen+fury+zen+gfist I think a lot of classes gained some very memorable traits that I would like to see again. Scholars for instance add a new and fun dynamic to parties and makes it possible to level without having to stop to rest for SP, high priests make it possible to access the higher level content thanks to assumptio and better heals. There's tons of examples to make, but those of you who used to play already know what I'm talking about.

without trans classes there probably wont be extended classes... that would not be nearly as fun... ninja is by far my favorite class... im ok with trans classes... does anybody know if extended classes will be added in the beginning?

Trans for sure. We shouldn't be dealing with end game stuff a month after the server comes out...

Trans classes without bots wouldn't be terrible. No unlimited acid bombs/edps which were the things that made trans retarded. Oh and kafrashop +10 foods allowing easy instant cast. Leave all those out with some bonus EXP rates and you'll see a lot of players playing. Otherwise? Good luck imo
