Its kinda annoying seeing this one character was botting in some map for quite sometimes, the best things is that she is geared I believed with a costume headear.. One day I saw a new character im not sure if was the same person or not, but equip with same headgear and same faces as well so Im judging that was the same person.

I went there for quite sometimes too for some purpose and she still there, try everything pm and follow which explain she's obviously a BOT. So i took a few screenshot and send tickets. I got reply for the tickets said they had it investigated & thanks for the report and screenshot. After few days later that I went there and oh good the bots no more here, I even give good feedback for that though.

But today im in party of TI and suprised to see that girl who was botting is in my party (Of course i didn't asked her did she got warning or what from GM). So I just wonder what do GM do when they found out about player botting? Give warning first? or is it means my report is failed cause the investigation proved that she is a real player that been playing all day long hitting monster non stop and dont hve time to reply me or bother im following her for few days? xD

ps : btw sorry for my grammar i just wanted to know and i dont know if its appropriate to send another ticket just to get her banned since she doesn't bot anymore. Just who knows it might be happening again, maybe differents character on the next time?

I dont really care about bot but the zeny buyer is one that really piss me off.

For the most part they contact your character to see if your actions change. In many cases bots either ignore the action or go static. In many cases it all depends on the actions at this point but they're trying to see if someone is at home, in many cases it's not so its a quick one. For cases where the bot is manned or has an auto response Config set up it's more about thinking out side the box when initiating and continuing contact with the player. So asking "botHEYbotCANbotYOUbotDEALbotMEbotPLEASE" to an AI they only see the word bot and would respond with a response triggered by that word. While for real players most are missing visual cues so the GM asks "What happened" many end up failing.

Oh so some bot will reply when u say bot? i think this one doesnt have the config cause I asked her is this bot or not and got no reply. I believed GM took action on her already cause she is no longer there in the Map but yeah she is still able to play so thats what bothering me.

they only respond if they configure that option that doesnt happen in most cases, dont care if they dont bot anymore they should get anyway the problem is that gms dont really care, they only send you a nice awenser tell you that everything will be ok, but nothing happen.
i sended a list full of bot names, receive the same mail that you receive(ctrl+V) and all of those bots still there farming lvls and items 24/7

thats dissapointed to hear.. Its unfair some worked hard to lvling yet some ppl just go botting and get to 150 then join a guild to woe and mvp, they still hve fun though and so do us, so whats the different =.=

I have seen the same thing happen as well! I see the same person in a map constantly. I try to talk to them and when I don't get any sort of answer I would screen cap and send in a ticket.

Then when I see this person again they are guilded or in TI maps and parties. I don't forget that fact that some people might not want to repsond to random people while grinding in maps but I do know humans need sleep at some point ^^;;

It is disappointing when you send in a whole bunch of tickets and get the same responce and still don't see much getting done about it.

I actually saw a bot programmed to stop priest of warping the bots to morroc dark spot by putting a chat asking you to stop. (of course we warped the char with the chat also)

Believe me, real players will answer to a gm or at least go 'blank for a minute' before talking to them.

The GM team cant say how the investigation went, but if there are bots that have been reported and still need attention, send me a pm with the ticket number and ill check it myself

Dont be so gloom and doom. Many people report, when you include more info than needed it makes their job easier. Duh right? I believe you've done alot trying to get these bots off the servers, and as a fellow player thanks =3... Ymir for LIfe!

The Gms do care, its just alot of paper work and not enough time. It would be a 1:2 ratio, for every bot removed, 2 more join. Thats bad, however with some small game tweaks and the diligences of players like you and many on the thread; we can keep the servers having a low and very manageable.

First Problem: Don't pm them. If I was botting and you PM'd me - I would leave the map for a few days too.
Solution: Just get their name.

Second Problem: You sent in a ticket.
Solution: Send Oda a PM with just the name, because the guys that do the tickets are retarded.

Third Problem: They don't ban the bots. They always offer item/zeny whipe if the bots get caught. This way maybe the botter will buy some cash shop items still.
Solution: Play another game.
