Well, you see, my merchant is running out of Novice Potion that he got from doing the bear's footskin+animal skin quest. So I'm quite wondering what healing item to buy. I'm looking for a healing item that gives you most for every zeny since weight isn't that much of a big deal for a merchant. Please consider that my merchant only has 1 vit. >_<

Fresh Fish (250z each w/o Discount) is a good healing item for low levels. You also can change Worm Peeling to Red Potion. That's a free way to get a free potion.

Merchant (152,63) Aldebaran
Red Potion for 1 Worm Peeling
Red Potion for 7 Feather of Birds
Red Potion for 10 Jellopy

Nothing beats carrots with a rudolf hat for cost / healing efficiency, but the "entrance fee" is pretty high and rudolf hats on the market are not cheap right now. Highly recommended you get one in the long run though.

Red Potion for 10 Jellopy

That's a slick trade, seeing as jellopies vend for several times the cost of a red potion last I checked...

Fresh Fish aren't the right choice for him, I don't think. He's still using novice potions, which implies that he's dirt poor and doesn't need to regen large amounts of hp. That calls for the really old standard - meat, with the accessory cards to boost the healing if he can get them for near-free.

Unless he has a rudolph headband sitting around from doing the xmas event, in which case he could just wear that and use carrots, and get the heal of a ranked white for 15z a pop....

as you level i find that aloe leaflets are great... especially farming groves... they heal for the same as white pots and weigh alot less... hinalle leaflets too....slightly less hp but still pretty good... buying wise take all the herbs and empty bottles you find to the Pharmacist in Alberta (located in the room opposite to the forge in The Merchants guild)... for a small fee+ the items he will make pots in bulk with no fail rate... lotta people have forgotten about him

Aloe and Hinalle leaflets are better sold and used to buy traditional healing items - they're used in several quests, in addition to being really great lightweight healing items.

Creating herbs at pharmacist in alberta is a TERRIBLE idea though.

How much does a white herb vend for? 500-1000z (because they're used for things other than pots). How much does an empty bottle npc for? ~250. So you get 1 white potion for 1250-2250 zeny of items, when you can npc them for 912z. How about yellows? Well, one yellow herb is worth 100-150z, nothing big, but yellow pots only sell for 418z with dc, so this still isn't a net win. And red potions are worth a fraction what the empty bottle is. Blue herbs sell for 2k on the free servers, 12k on Ymir. Blue Pots are 4000 on the free servers, and 15000 on Ymir. Again - the herbs are worth as much as, or more than the potion you'd get for them (because blue herbs get used by ranked potters to make blues, and most rankers get 90+% rates on blues, and ranked blues are worth significantly more than unranked ones)

Pumpkin pies are decent healing item. Otherwise I'd have to go with rudolf hat as it is the best leveling hat I have ever used. Ever. Yeah I'd died a few times to super mobs due to cast delay from the Agi Up but for the most part, it is worth every penny (zeny).
